Do some of the stages have different .arc files for their Infinite Mode versions? I ask this because your Gun Shop mod doesn't seem to work in Infinite Mode. No they have an "S" version of the original xml used for infinty mode. So 72 hour mode and overtime use the normal xmls to spawn stuff and infinity mode uses files ending with S for infinity mode. So it doesn't work cause the ifninity mode's XML in NP hasn't been edited.

Here is a list of outfit with their file names. They are all in the nativeblahblah64 folder and are somewhere near the bottom. Just look for cos002 or whatever in the name and you'll see the section with outfits. Frank in game head model and hands and his cutscene head are in arcromsystem_common and arcromplpl01pl01.

Does anyone know how to fix the survivor/psycho times being off in Infinite Mode when you use the save mod? No way to fix that. The saving in infinity mode just delays things by 12 in game hours. So just add 12 in game hours on and then you'll get the correct times to work with. Say if a survivor spawns on day 2 exactly, add 12 in game hours on to that day. So they'd sapwn at day 2 12 hours instead. No way to fix that as infinity mode was probably never meant to work with saving anyway, so bugs were bound to happen.

Well, at EXACTLY 5 days and 12 hours, the 5 day survivor achievement unlocked. Soooooo glad to know it works. Thanks for the confirmation! I would've thought I wasted all that time otherwise. You'll also get 7 day at 7 days 12 hours I think. Not sure why it delays it by 12 in game hours. But with it getting tested, it's interesting to see.

I appreciate the responses. I guess I'll leave the game running again. I don't want to seem like a whiner, but I did this years ago on the 360 and it was a nightmare. Crossing my fingers! We all did it on the 360 years ago too. So we all know the feel. But yeah just wait a bit longer and it should appear. Not sure how long it will be though.

I used the Security Room mod to help me with the 5 day and 7 day survivor achievements, however on Day 6, I did not unlock 5 day survivor. I DID save and quit on multiple occasions, so I'm assuming that it must still be done in 1 sitting, which is ridiculous. Unless the modded map somehow affects achievements. Saving in Infinity Mode slightly delays the achievements. Like one user had to wait till day 7 12 hours after to get 7 day survivor. It all depends on how many times you save it seems. So you just need to wait a little longer than normal.

Would it not be the same method as this? (and replacing an item that isn't of use, similarly to the locker door in the security room) just for a different map. Maybe. All I need to do is change the co-ords of where the book spawns to be outside the locked doors. Not too hard actually now.

If you pirated it, then yes it won't work. The actual game works for everyone who bought it on steam. So just buy it honestly as the steam one has a patch for it that fixes issues, which I guess would fix your issues probably.

So thanks to Stipo for sharing his DR1 knowledge on things such as simple weapon spawning. I can now finally mod DR1 on PC a bit more. So this topic is where I will release any mods I have done. Most of them will be item/weapon placements though for now. Brainwashing Tips spawning from the start of the gameSo ever thought that the Brainwashing Tips book spawned far too late in the game for it to be of use to you? Well now you can get it from the very start of the game. *Chanting cult sounds* (Download here)Known Issues: Not really big, but the spawn acts like a dispencer, so you can leave and come back to grab a book again and end up have two of the same book in your inventory. This is just a bit of code that makes it act like a desipencer. Just need to figure out which one it is, so it only spawns once to be take and won't respawn unless you go back to it after dropping the book and leaving the area it is dropped in. For now, only take one and that's it really. Al not really an issue. But this item spawn will replace the data that would normally spawn in a snack in the cinema. Not a huge loss as it was a "Japan" snack. All other snacks and such are untouched though. Next I am planning to make the other books that seem to appear when a boss is defeated. I think Kent is the only other one to have a book appear after we kill him. After that I'll move on to making the boss related weapons spawn from the start too. Survival book location changeThis mod simply changes the position of the Survival book from Cliff's empty room to be in the same place as this paintcan which is not too far away from the entrance to North Plaza via the doors. Depends if the game engine will handle anything above 1024x1024. Plus you need to find someone who can recreate textures at those quality sizes. I t can be done. You just need to find someone talented at doing the recreating texture size of things.

If you've heard it and not seen concreate images showing it, I'd take it with a pinch of salt. I am sure they'll keep the timer, cause as you said it is a stapel in the DR series and makes you plan what to do, if you go for the true ending or not.

I doubt capcom will bother with it. They don't even help out the RE modding community let alone what is left of the DR one. They probably said that to encourage more people to buy it for PC.

50percentjoe has a file up that edits the preorder.bin that will unlock the outfits and let's you mix and match the outfit parts with other outfits. I have used on steam and it does not get pissy about it. All capcom didn't do was change the code to enable them to work by default. So all you need to do is pretty much replace the file with the modded one and there you go. Day 1 outfits and the weapons to come with them too.

Yeah the dr3 one was gonna be the standard one but then they uppede it and everyone got the dlc for free. SO there is nothing there as nearly all the dlc minus a few consiole exclusive ones are there. Day 1 outfits, dlc weapons and the rest of the dlc weapons are there and easy to unlock. The only thing that is not the pc version is the golden sledgesaw as there is no texture for it, same with the steamhog roller combo weapon having a moutain dew texture and something else got a doriots themed texture and then there is the dlc horse mask or something X1 got and finally x1 still has the super happy fun time long named dr3 arcade dlc that may or may not ever come to pc evenutally.

svr_dlc1 to 15 are the agents. It would be nice if someone has searched all the models and dlc models too. Then named it and put in here. Yeah we know about these. Audio for the unmarked missions. One being the ted boss fight and the two guys you randomly see hanging for their lifes over the palisade railings. There is quite a bit of unused audio stacey's VA did.

If you are having the idea of just trying to swap the models of the pc version with the CW one it won't work due to difference encryptions and such. We can however use a reverse engineered dr2 geo model script to import the models. But not any maps or textures. Most texture can be recreated as most of the models peices and textures are reused dr2 npcs and such.

It can be done but you need to get the peices in a more OTR format for it to work cause I have tried this myself but did it a wrong way. But the debug jump to said level did work for me and all worked except the survivors arn't there but their models are in OTR, The only thing that did appear was their shopping bags item. You need to study the differences to get it working right.

Not sure what to say as I have never had the crash. The only time I got a black screen crash was due to the render setting ini file in the my games folder in the my documents folder. Try finding your dr2 otr folder in the my games folder and delete the rendersettings. May solve it weirdly.
