So seems most of it got answred for you but to be sure. I've had no stutter issues. If the game stutters for you that much, it might just be your settings as I have no issues like that at all. Also never noticed any overlapping textures like you have. Gonna ask, but is it steam bought, aka you actually paid for it or did you download it via pirate stuff? If you downloaded it via pirate stuff, then that would be why it has a tone of issues.

No need to be insulting to people. Anyway just use a ps4 controller with it's USB, game will display ps4 button promts then. Not really hard as the game detects the ps4 controller by default.

I put my datafile_big.big file in my dead rising 2 folder, but that didn't work so I used the datafile.big file but it also didn't work. Any help? Cause you rename datafile_big.big to datafile.big and you put it in the DATA folder. Also zeroeight20 I have no idea as at the time it worked. But since DR2 moved to steamworks, some things are a bit funny now.

As was said to someone else. No there are none being worked on as the windows store pc version release is un-moddable. It is locked up tighter than anythign with it's files and nothing can be edited, copy and pasted or changed. So gotta wait for the steam versions release.

Considering the mod is over 6 years old and the user isn't really here any more, that isn't a surprise. All you can do is either figure out how to recreate the mod, or make a request.

Simple answer is until we can either A. Get a model importer/exporter script done or find someway to compile more than one model bit in to a npc arc, you won't be seeing Frank as a NPC in DR1 any time soon.

No one knows of a way to unpack that file and no one ever made any tools to do it. Your best bet is asking on Xentax or any other site where they look at stuff and may still hold an interest in DR2's files. If not, you'd just need to hunt down someone who can make a tool or something to unpack them really.

I'm new to modding Dead Rising 2 and I just got Dead rising 2 a week ago and I'm not sure how to install the Frank outfit for Chuck. Help? But still it's a really cool looking mod Use gibbs tools which you can find in the DR2 tools section, that is used to unpack the npcs.big file that contains the npc models and chuck's models

If you want to add something you can. You don't have to replace an already exisiting entry. So if you copy and paste an edited code to spawn some zombrex, you can. Adding item spawns is very easy. SO basically if you copy and paste this code entry in to the safehouse.txt cItemPlacement Zombrex { ItemName = "Zombrex" IsDispenser = "true" Location = "-2.800,-0.075,19.500" PropState = "-2" Rotation = "-0.000,0.002,0.000,1.000" } and save it and repack everything it will make a new spawn for a zombrex dispencer in the safehouse in the cafateria. But yeah it's a case of just copying the code of something and change it's location XYZ co-ords to spawn elswhere.

Sorry but any Character That I enter as a mod has the nick pants, I have to do something? the rest of the body is ok. Make sure you are weating Nick complete default clothing before installing any npc play swap mods in the game. Game sort of glitches and doesn't hide the pants correctly if you install a mod before wearing the complete outfit. If it is still there, try making 2 blank files. basically create a .txt document and rename the file extension and name it'self to the big and tex files for Nick's pants, then drop those in the folder that has his default legs model. Also be sure to back up your stuff.

Look up the new topic I made which has the real and actual used cz shirt texture and pants in dr2 now. also make sure you make sure it fully is replaced and reference. also drag the bigfile.xml in the npcs big to the pack option instead as this will back the npcs.big more correctly creating a bigfile.xml in the npcs.big, just rename that to npcs.big and there you go.

Hmm. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've downloaded your file twice. I have to replace head_naked_frank.tex in npcs.big, right? ^ I replaced facewear_sportsfan_f.tex in npcs.big to get this. This worked nice. ^ ^ I replaced head_naked_frank.tex in npcs.big through your download link, and I got this... This looks like his default face. I downloaded the file twice and still got the same results. Is there another location in which I need to replace this file? I'm also using the safehouse underwear vendor and glasses remover mod by Freako and Default Frank slim by DukeNukem0911. I doubt there are conflicts with these mods, but could there be? If I recall one of them just makes his face sligly less wrinkled so that might be why you don't see much of a difference I think. Been a while since I looked at the original mod.

Hey, if you're updating mods, can you update the younger face for Frank from your "New faces for Frank Direct Reskins Version?" I've done the reskins, and the scarred face works and the bruised face works, but the younger face doesn't. I replaced and still got the default face, and when I replaced the scarred face with the younger face, it's just black (no texture). Not something I can update considering I never had any issues on my end, neither did anyone else. So I really can't figure out why it is having an issue. I'll take a look but everything was working correctly.

Not bad. Can this be done in reverse at all? If you've tried it and it works, this could open up some doors to do sound modding. i will see if it is possible. to as of now i am not sure Yeah I am having a mess about too. Also I think Frank's audio should be contain in arcsystem_common

Please post questions about stuff in the general modding discussion boards for OTR. Not in Mod releases. Only modding topics that are releasing something are to be posted here. Also no, no one has it anymore to my knowledge. (Also moved this to it's correct board)

arcromsystem_common Since most people are just making model swaps over Frank. That and arcromevent_common too for the cutscene frank swaps too.

Can I ask you a favor for one female I like in the game. Kelsey Louise from the side mission Kim and Comfort. Can she be playable too please? As you can probably seem this user has not been online in a while, so they most likely won't answer you. If you want a request done, I would either make a topic in the dr3 mod request section or look at some topics in dr3 to see if anyone knows which model file is the survivor you want.

If I'm using "Chuck Mod",Does it work ?? It does. Just rename chuck's files to frank, aka the one that end in _f in this mod. Also no crashes happen with this mod as I have tested it. So if your game crashes, it's most liely something on your end if it does crash.

There you go. You changed the required mission to finish before the case started. So it's loading data from that mission to load in to the next one which seems to get rid of the zombies. Probably cause the original reads more data to spawn the zombies in.

If you look at the TIR intro Frank did get kinda pudgy. Belly really shows in spandex. The Mall Jacket I always got the impression if it being baggy as opposed to fat. Like the jacket fit him as a fat ass but he lost weight kinda thing. But Rebecca Chang still love him long time Speaking of which if you can thin out Frank can we fatten up Rebecca? Going off the default outfit Frank is not that fat, heck he is more chubby than fat in the intro. So most of the proportions they did for the stomach on these outfits was stupid. I mean if we say the Willamette outfit is baggy, wouldn't it also be baggy when Chuck wore it? It kinf of itsn't for Chuck, it's only like a tiny bit bigger than his body is so it isn't tight. So i applied that to these two outfit and keeping it close to the default outfit's weight size. Also prbaby could make rebecca chubby, not going to though as I see no use in doing that other than for comical effect. XD

Nice Job man! I thought i was the only one who was bothered by the weight on the models. Yeah I planning to fix many of them that are unsightly. Like most outfits are okay, but some like these two are rediculous with how bad the thought out weight was. So if you spot any other outfit that look like they could do with a weight re-adjustment, let me know.

Nothing concerning AI has been done or can be done as of yet, same as draw distance and amount of zombies. That's stuff that needs to be looked at still.

So like my new DR2 topic, this oen will be for OTR model rigs and anything else. So let's see what we can do, or re-do. First up we have a weight fix for Frank's Willamette Mall uniform. as you know in OTR, many outfits have crazy thought out weight issues for Frank when he isn't really that fat. So I went and adjust the vertex of the model to match up closer to Frank's weight on his default outfit. Download here! Click it!Next up we have a weight fix for Frank's Sportsfan outfit. This is probably the second worst weight issue they messed up on an outfit. Frank looks like a major fatass or pregnant woman in this. Like the Willamette mall outfit I edit this so it matched the default outfit's proper weight. Now it looks like a better outfit to wear. Click here to DL!So this is a music replace mod I did quite a while back, since the old topic is well super old now, I thought I'd release it on this topic in case people wanted it. So this mod basically replaces TK's Overtime boss theme in OTR to his unused OTR track, as OTR still uses his DR2 theme. No idea why they didn't put this in, could be something as stupid as them forgetting to replace it over the original theme. Here is an expample of how i sounds during the fight. So heres the modded music file of mine. www.dropbox.com/s/183zaqk1mkdgk9h/TK%27s%20unused%20OT%20theme%20in%20OTR.zip?dl=0So to add this in the game. You just need to open the music.big and delete the original files and then place the modded one in.Then pack it back up.Then copy the modded music.big.The open up cache, big from the audio folder and copy the modded music.big somewhere and rename it to music.$$$.The replace the original music.$$$ with the modified one. Then pack those bigs back up and replace both bigs in the audio folder with the modifed ones. Then hey presto TK's unused theme is in OTR Heres the full music for anyone who wants to hear it Okay so new mod relase! Here we have the actual Case West Journalist Suit model with the actual textures. The jacket uses the the DR1 texture as it is reused for Case West but it cut down from 1024x1024 to 512x512. So 1024 version fits better on PC. So here it is, done for Frank and co-op Chuck and also includes a readme on how to install this as a new outfit, rather than it replacing an outfit already in game. Download the FANTASTIC! mod hereAfter so long I finally present Case West Isabela in OTR! It's been a long time Frank (Download here)

Just change the x,y,z co-ords in the safehouse's area jump when you go out to the roof and you'll be outside. This version of the mall outside is the most stable as the EP version isn't worth look at.

Cutscene use the skeletonmalebody and female one. You'd have to swap those around to fix the cutscenes. But the male body applies to well all males so yeah. Need to find a way around that.

can you add chuck's outfit not the outfit he wore at deadrising 2 but his outfit where he showed up to annie Sorry for the late reply. But no you can not. We don't have any tools to re-rig the model to Nick and plus Chuck's model is much taller than Nick's in game. So he can't wear his outfit. All we can do is model swap, reskin and edit code. That's it.
