I actually think the racing thing is kinda cool actually Yes it is.I never said I was getting rid of it.I've just gotta get the words back to their original sie as you can see the words kinda faded on the jacket in the pic.I gotta get the actual words sized up to cover that. Edit: I have fixed this up and posted a link on my modle releases topic in the DR2 section

So yeah I have been learning how to do direct reskins this week.And here is my work on the IJIEK jacket Reskin so far. So yeah tell me what you think of this so far,Oh and I know I gotta fix the size of the "Racing" words on Chcuk's jacket.Gotta resize them back to their original size.Anyway leave some feedback on this.

OK so heres the deal.I managed to reskin Chuck's face and add his psycho beard to his normal DR2 face.This is a direct reskin I have done,not a texmod reskin.Anyway I got the face in the right postion and everything.But his ears and eyes turned out like this.... So yeah.I would be greatful for any help on how to fix these two problems.Bare in miund I on;y reskinned his face texture and nothing else.So yeah.Helpful posts and advice on how to fix this would be greatful.

Useable weapons now THAT is awesome They were weapons in case zero too. Yeah like Madda said they were usable weapons in CZ as well.

Awesome. You can drive that right? Or is it just the parts spread around...or...is it the same model as the normal bike(s)? These are just the bike parts,not the actual drivable bike.Theres a code to spawn the drivable bike.Anyway these are just for show.Well mostly the bike body on the stand is.The other parts are usuable weapons.

So I found these two code lines in items.txt

I told you modding a Frank Chest file breaks the textures. Oh I see now,Yeah the camera is all black.Oh that can be fixed at some pont.Just need to go into the actual textures folder for the file.I will edit it soon. Edit: Ok I have fixed this.The textures for the camera are back on it again.So I will release the new fixed version tommorrow. Edit 2: New link to download the mod has been uploaded.It all works fine now

I believe someone will be able to permanently affix this to the player with coding. Sorry to bump this.But the your link to the file showed the download got removed.Is there any chance of you reuploading it somewhere else?I kinda wanted this mod with the camera,but I am unable to hace that because of this link not working no more.

not successfully, arms and hands were all out of whack. Just like I technically did a model swap of Katey... It looks like ass but technically it worked. Couldn't you switch the skeletons? It would f*ck up the rest of the males but so what. Not as easy as that buddy.

one set is used for when pants go over the boots and one is when you can see all of the boots. Like in Chuck's default outfit in DR2, you can only see the bottom portion like in the Right photo. yeaj I know tommah,Just saying they used the same model for CZ but it was more of the boots getting cut off to look like trainers in CZ.

So heres a little mod I decided to do.So I saw Chuck had 6 odd files for his default boots.So i took the ones that were labeled feet_default_over and feet_default_under and replaced the yellow sneakers with them to see what they would look like after modding. So heres my results. The actual default boots on the left and the modded Yellow Sneakers on the right. "] So I'm gonna take a look at the trainers in the actual CZ game and see how close these are to them.Will update when I find out more. Update: Yep those are the exact same model of the trainers used in CZ.Well they are more like the boots cut off.But yeah.We have more CZ related stuff now.I'll just check for any bugs just in case.

Yeah thanks for hat Madda.But I still can;t figure out how to get Jed to spawn and act as he does in the CZ fight.I'm really clueless now.My brain is hurting from all this uderstanding of codes. XD So yeah if someone else understands more of this psycho's coding,do try to help or have a crack at it like I did.It seriously is driving me a bit nuts XD

T was something I tried soon after I saw that it didn;t work the first time round.Still the sane result sadly. Hmm- I totally replaced the boss Chuck in both the game and the cutscenes and this was done by replacing the three files: boss_chuck.big, dc_chk.big, and dc_chuck.big I modded boss_chuck.big and just copied/renamed it to the other two, dropped them into npcs.big and it worked. Hmmm I did that and it still didn't work for me.Might have to take a look again sometime.

I don't remember what I tried but I will take a look at the files when I get a chance an maybe find something that could help you. It may be something simple or it may be something more complicated. That'll be helpful. Also in other news I took a look at CZ's Missions.txt thanks to Madda for sending me it.So from what I saw.The file for Jed is called up on in the same way DR2's bosses are.It looks in the games datafile and calls up that file.So I did a bit more digging seeing if I could find where in the miussions.txt it called up on the boss_*boss name*.txt.But I could not see it in both the CZ Missions.txd and DR2's.But I can say Jed's files that are in DR2's files are pretty much the same as his CZ ones.I did try to replace the line in missions txt that calles up on Slappy's battle file with Jed's.Only problem is that the co-ordinates for both of them are way different.Pretty much there was no boss to fight after the Slappy cutscene.No boss music either.It was as if the fight had ended,but the mission name was still there.

I have the case zero files with me, I can give you it's missions.txt to see how Jed's fight is coded. Oh that'll be helpful madda.I'm new to this whole mission thing.So It will be helpful.One thing I noticed when I compared Slappy's fight files to Jed's is that Slappy's has a item placement for him to appear.Where as Jed's file doesn't. Edit: He does.But it's somewhere in the middle of his code.But I did notice boss psychos have nodes.But they seem different slightly.

Okay.So I was browsing the DR2 files and saw that Jed's boss fight data is still in the game in the text files called battle_mechanic and boss_mechanic.txt
So I had a attempt at seeing if I could get all of what Jed did and had in his CZ fight into DR2 by replacing Slappy's fight with Jed's.As you can see in the video.His model is used and not replaced over Slappy.His name appears over his head.But he doesn't have his weapons and doesn't come to attack me.He is a like a unmobile survivor.Heres a vid I did of it.
So yeah thats all I could get to work is his model loading in the fight with his name above his head.Also after I killed him the boss fight didn't end.It was like Chuck just killed a survivor.There was no way to end the mission.
So yeah if anyone else would like to share some info on this or take a crack at getting Jed's fight to work in DR2.Go right ahead.

Ok so heres what I found out.It won;t work.Because Chuck's chest part has two files linking to his chest area.The shirt under his jacket and the jacket it self.So this looks like a no go sadly.

Try this: Go into folder options and un tick this box. Then try it. Thanks Freako.It worked.Thanks a lot for the help. dit: Ok so this only works best with swapping Chuck and Anim's heads.I tried it with Leon and he still had his hair and the model mixed in with his own.Gonna see if the tir yellow outfit will work with anum now.

that's strange, when I replace .big with .tex it changes to a tex file YTeah it doesn't do it for me.This is the only thing holding me back from doing this head model swap.

well for .tex files you're supposed to remove the .big portion and just have it .tex I did that.When I repack it it comes out as a .big file.I change the name to .tex but it still stays in the .big format either way I do it.

correct. the only difference is that the resulting file will be a "_tex.big" file. Just rename it to ".tex" it will ask if you are sure... Yes you are sure. Okay I've done that.But it is still in the .big format.

1. "leye", 2. "reye", 3. "headshape", and 4. "mouthshape" and then replace the same in the .tex Right just found those out.So when I unpack the tex files,do I repack them the same way I would the big files? Edit: I unpacked with gibbed,but when I repack the ,tex it gets packed into a .big now

Yes that is what I was thinking of.I was requesting something like that,but with Chuck in his yellow TIR outfit. Read THIS little section about swapping parts. What I did was swap Chuck's head with Anim's head. As for the Yellow Suit.... I dunno, maybe do the same thing with swapping parts of Chuck's Tir Outfit with Anim's Tir Outfit using the same method. Worth a shot. Hmmm I'll have a look at that.Might be a bit complicated for me biut I can give it shot.I only wanted Chuck as a NPC like that.Just so I can replace any mosle in the game with him. XD Edit: Okay so what files do I need from Chuck's Head_Naked.big?I wanna try to do a head swap of Leon with Chuck's head.
