Is anyone else having the same problem I am? I did my edit by adding Zombrex next to the Bucket then when I saved and clicked on Pack I get the error gibbed.deadrising2.pack has stopped workingwhenever that tool stops working it is because there is an error in the format or a file is missing. is i bug san_paulino_dlc_episode4_locations 0KB is and empty after open ? deadrising3\data\levels\locations\san_paulino_dlc_episode4_locations could be empty. There were some empty files, I just don't remember which ones actualy were.

I know this is a old post but I hope you still read this...how do I edit the zombie count to increase it ? Do I do it in the txt. file provided or do I go in the other file? I'm pretty sure the txt file included. Sorry haven't looked at it in a while so I'm unsure. Basically the "missions" file holds all the spawning values.

Those are variables of the directory/file that were selected in the app. Its strange, I'm assuming the crash is due to the "Dead Rising 2\\Data", there shouldn't be two \'s there (unless you changed something). I've never seen this before, I'll look around to see if I still have the source code on my pc.

odds are the tool failed to pack due to incorrect editting of files inside the .big file. That's the only time I've ever seen a crash.

This mod with more zombies mode would be awesome. tommah you think you can merge them? Oh, BTW, awesome forum and thanks for your work guys. I'm almost certain I included a DIY txt file in "More Zombies" its really not that hard to do that mod you just need to open up the missions file and "Find/Replace" the stuff I put in the txt file. Message me if you have problems with it.

This is basically the "hey want to die in 5 seconds?" mod its actually still not that bad at higher levels because you could just run through most hordes. Low levels is tough.

Thanks for the reviews, guys. I'm not sure why its crashing on you, all the same rules for the Gibbed Tools still apply; i.e. putting everything on the desktop for unpack and packing has worked for some (I've never needed to do that so I can't weigh in).
I don't remember if I've tried it on Win10 as I made it in Win7, I'll getting around to it soon.

Yea, I only use OneDrive because the links don't expire and its easy to use/modify. I promise there's no virus, you can try turning off your anti-virus or use a different browser.

Thanks, it was actually quite easy this way. I basically just swapped all zombies for the football zombie behavior and took out the tackle mini game crap.

what values did you try changing? Did you try the other Bulk files? There are many many many zombie behavioral entries across all bulk.bin files.

my guess is it is either still packing the Big file, as I just threw in checks to make sure it was the right file type, or it was actually packed. Depending on the Big file you are working with determines the amount of time needed to pack. This is just a tool gui for the tools (that are included) so any additional error that the tools provide are not included with the gui.

That's weird, I never knew there was a base edition. I think its an unlock as I think I remembered unchecking the DLC when installing, then later checking it and it finished in like 2 seconds.

I thought all the DLC was included in all the PC versions of the game? I don't think there's any "Standard" edition. Of course correct me if I'm wrong, I did not research this, only memory (which is apparently leaving me)

first thing first, if you haven't tried already, start a New Game +. Any additions to missions.txt require a story restart.

do you have windows 10? windows 10 kinda broke this game for some people... my game freezes with just default/no mods.

you sure? that should have been the easiest one. You unpack the Bin, but then you have to pack the text file that it created.

yea, you're perfectly able to create missions. I've created a 100 missions (with debug jumps) between all my mods, you just need to adhere to the format of the game.
