Fewer Zombies Mod or low resolution mod?

Trying to play it on my computer, but it gets embarrassingly slow when there are a lot of zombies on the screen. Can anyone make a mod to lower the resolution or cut the zombie count in half?

Just tried it earlier, It still runs slow, but it runs a little faster. Maybe there's a way to force the internal resolution to go under 1280 x 720? When I set it in the .ini file, it reverts back to 1280 x 720 every time it launches, even with the ini file set to read only. Or maybe there's a way I can lower the resolution of the textures without going through each one one by one?

The Watchdogs trainer has two cheats that should help you're performance which is "PS1 zombie mode" and "Remove all zombies". deadrising2mods.proboards.com/thread/3038/dead-rising-watchdog-trainer-release
