I have everything ready for a Texmod version, but I'm not sure where I should upload it I need a place that won't delete it after a period of time/without enough downloads.
Also I've uploaded a quick "Trailer" for it:
Edit: Good news! I was just sent a higher quality texture of Frank's face converted from lost planet, I'll add put it in tomorrow then it should be good as gold.

I think I remember there was a mod for Dead Rising 2 that increased the amount of blood splatter and if I remember correctly it also caused spray paint to spray on yourself, which is basically the mistake they've made in off the record because now all looters are basically green and the way Frank gets covered is a complete mess.
But I'm not quite sure which file to edit or where that mod is.
Anyone know?

All that's left to do is the shirt and we're rocking. I know it's already white, but it has feint pinstripes.

I started work just using the Gmod version, so far I have the pants done, the jacket will be some work because I have to figure out how the texture is layed out so I scribbled sections out on his jacket to try and figure it out. so far I only have the arms done, but I must say it is looking pretty authentic.

If i'm unable to get his actual texture I'll use the one made for Garry's Mod, one of the creators gave me permission to anyway so that's good.

The guy wrote me back telling me Frank's Wii textures are 256x256. ouch, man.
I do know however that there is a Frank West in lost planet 2 that is the exact same model as DR1, but I tried for hours to find a tool or something to rip the textures from there, no luck.

I know there is but I want to try for his actual textures first.

Converting stuff from consoles is probably the most pain in the ass thing you could do.
Knowing Capcom they'll probably release it as DLC soon.

Currently I've been scouring the internet trying to find any of Frank's ACTUAL textures converted from whatever games he's been in, because re-creating them just won't do for me. And the face was all that can be found.
I came across a guy who is able to convert models/textures from the Wii version of Dead Rising so that will have to do, I contacted him but I have no idea if he'll reply.
So now we play the waiting game.

I guess but atleast now its documented, if you read the information put up by the last guy he just guesses all the mesh info and has the user specify the mesh pairs. my converter opens the big file and loads any mesh out of it based on the info posted above. guess you guys will be fine with your old tools then. not like anyones interested in modding here (obviously) I never told you to give up. I wasn't completely sure if you were re-treading old ground, I hadn't read any of the old information either, my bad if I sounded that way.

Wasn't there already a bit learned of the model format since the first Dead Rising 2?
Bit late.

I'm putting together a texture mod that should make Frank look as spry as he did during the Willamette incident and if I'm unable to have the actual journalist suit put back in the game I'll just be texture modding the default outfit into his leather jacket and green khaki pants. Preview: Old Frank for comparison: I have to give some credit to my friend Cooljay, he had the idea and I basically just did it for him.

How could you not know? I thought this outfit was iconic for Frank. Screen of it from from Case West: As opposed to the default: The model looks almost identical, So a texture mod would do well if the Journalist Suit cannot be converted from Case West or found within the files of Off The Record. I've started putting together a texture mod myself, but still if remnants of this outfit can be found in the files or converted that would be great.

Could somebody either find out if the Journalist Suit (Frank's outfit from DR1 and Case West) Is in the files somewhere or at least make a texture mod for the default outfit in Off The Record?
Frank just isn't the same without his leather jacket and green khaki pants.
