This is one of my two work in progress mods. I decided to go with this one first since its faster to pull off and will help me understand missions.txt a little more before undertaking my larger scale mod Beta V1.0 DownloadBoss Challenge Mode! -Fight all psychopaths (Done!) (Snowflake is excluded as his coding seems to mess up all other missions. I may add him later on but for now he is not in the mod) +Working on balancing money received from defeating a psychopath -Instant level up to level 50 (Done!) -Buy supplies between battles but be careful as items are limited and so is your cash. (0%) -Health won't replenish after battles you must buy food to replenish your life. -Buy companion survivors to help you fight (50/50 not sure if I want to or will be able to add this in yet) (0%) **Additions** -Adding in small fry mobs (mercs, looters) to survival type missions which can be done over and over to gain cash. Players must survive for 45 seconds and any health lost will not be replenished. (25%) This mod won't be an over the top mod or anything just something simple and hopefully fun. Might be in final release if I can get it working how I want. I think its perfectly doable, make everything a reward mission of the previous mission......I like it

Now with your mod, we have three excellent mods which members are working on. (Tom and Den have one also). Awesome! I think it is really a sign of this communities maturity. I am so glad we all pushed to make infinity mode happen, not only was it the first mod mission ever made, it really let everyone know what is possible.
What is the first work in progress mod? You said you had two.

This was my work on the Boss challenge mod until I got side tracked lol. I've got a few bosses working already but this file isn't to show that. While trying to get boykin area working I found out it's one of those map areas that do not load off the back. I have 2 solutions 1) Find out how the area gets loaded so its not all black 2) Relocate the boss to a new area. I tried solution 2 and it's gonna be tedious but it's possible. The file provided here shows Leon in Royal Flush. He is not set up for that area so he just rams into every wall he sees. Maybe he is just ramming into roaches and mice that I do not see and doing the mall a favor. Either way this is still in early development and I will be exploring this possibility. Perhaps it will even be possible to have a big room where its setup for boss battles which I think would be a pretty cool idea  Well let me know what you guys think as your input is always appreciated. I assume he crashes into walls because the boss text file is not modified, as you know each boss battle has a boss text file which is called on in missions.txt.

the only problem with dropbox is you have to cheap the file in your dropbox in order to be downloadable

The biggest drawback i see with skydrive is it is only 2 gb. there is no size limit though per upload, so you can upload npcs.big files (around 477 mb)

Hey lets keep all this dropbox love out of every other post that contains a download. This is not a full release mod so yet it doesn't matter if the file expires or not. Anyways when I need to upload larger files I can use dropbox or any other service that allows larger file downloads. The thing here being if mediafire gets hacked oh well they get the free files a user name/password only used on that site. If dropbox gets hacked it could expose vulnerabilities in their software and potential for further damage and such. For now even if the chance is extremely small of that happening I don't want to be taking those tiny 1/1000000 risks specially with a world of script kiddies roaming around everywhere just looking to cause mischief for anyone.

This project is taking longer than I though since I like to over complicate things XD Ok so all boss missions should work but I haven't added triggers to all the bosses yet so not all of them can be spawned. This is alpha version 1.0 so its just a preview of what is to come later on. This has no shop yet and only contains a few bosses. Your life will be regained after each fight since its only alpha version. Let me know what you guys think so far as feedback is always appreciated. I require the assistance of the community. The shop function isn't integrated yet as I am still working on solving that problem but all bosses I've integrated into the mod should be spawning.
3 weapons and lobsters have been included in beta 1.0 for testing purposes only. For now I only need to know if all bosses are working correctly on your side as well.
Bosses: -Boykin -Chef -Helicopter -Leon -Magicians -Mascot -Postman -Protester -Security Guard -Sex Deviant -Sullivan -TK -Twins
After each battle you should be teleported back to the safehouse cafeteria and receive some cash. To get back into the boss room just exit the cafeteria and head right. It will be the first room right next to the cafeteria.

WWJDW? is mislabeled. I tried three missions: carl - killed antoine - killed slappy the LMG is a weak gun, melee weapons are better. hiding behind the counter during fight with carl and shooting him made the mission a cake walk. how did you make the items disappear after you killed them? what is the money for? Is there going to be some grand prize at the end of killing all these people? are any of the missions in different areas from the original?

Thanks for your reply the trigger name is an easy fix  how did you make the items disappear after you killed them? Everything is setup in the same mission so when the mission is complete the code doesn't need to run you can look at my missions.txt it should be well organized so you can easily understand the code. I wanted a shop function but I may just go the easier path and unlock weapons when you defeat the psychopath that you can then pick up in the safehouse. I haven't really made anything but I suppose I could make a grand prize when you defeat all bosses it shouldn't be too hard. are any of the missions in different areas from the original? All bosses you fight are in their default locations I may relocate them later on but it's too much of a pain to do that right now. There will be survival missions added on though which will last for 1minute and 30 seconds in which there will be waves of enemies spawning every (X) amount of seconds. I am not sure what the reward will be as it was gonna be money for the shop but due to it not going as planned I may just have it restore your health completely when you complete it.
