I suggest you find a way to make the survivors shoot more often, and increase their damage to match yours. If possible.

An option that makes the shotguns and sniper rifles that spawn in the gun shop stay in the rack. (they are unlimited no matter how many you grab) I also suggest you keep two versions of the mod with each of these options, so people can pick and choose. Or have them as two separate mods entirely.

Just increase the weapon output for a gun and hand it to them. You can add more pellets to a shot and increase rate of fire. It's fairly easy, just look at a weapon in items.txt, the lines are pretty self-explanatory.
