i just was thinking id throw this out there... (brainstorming)... ive been trying to think of ways to combine new unused things like cooking oil, i always thought it should be able to like be put in a pan and cooked and you can throw it like a flamethrower... grease fire you know? ... or maybe cooking oil + firecrackers = molotov & firecracker effect ? ... just wanting to make more combos with non comboable things.... maybe keg + gasoline can and its like a big molotov or propane tank (or boom + flames ) ... i want to make something with serving tray, theres so many of them and i always accidently pick em up LOL ... not sure what yet..... oooh, you could like cut the tray into sharp triangles and launch em with blower or ... arrows for the bow. == also what about combo combo weps like, spiked bat + motor oil = flaming spiked bat. == or what about even, combining blambow + dynamite = bigger explosion ... or .. 3x ammo (sure you can mod more ammo, but i like combo making ) ... well theres some ideas...

those are some pretty good ideas and doable to a certain point... I've noticed though in the game that if you make a new combo weapon, it erases an existing one from in the game :-\. feel free to look into it further though. the Grease fire might be cool if you could turn it into a projectile launcher and give the pan the fire pyroeffect of say the "flaming gloves". throw flaming pans at zombies. for the Keg you could just recreate the Keg item but just turn it into an explosive item (take properties from propane tank) and just jack up the impulse value so the zombies it DOES hit fly across the zone. Maybe add the Molotov pyroeffect for the explosion for shits and giggles. flaming spiked bat should be fairly easy, just take the spiked bat and add the flaming sword's pyroeffect, or if that doesn't line up well take the flaming gloves. for the blambow with bigger explosion, just increase the impulse and explosion radius of the arrow_explosion (or whatever its called) if you aren't familiar with modding weapons, check out my tutorial: deadrisingwiki.com/wiki/Mod:Modify_weapons

yeah i looked into seeing how to add weapons, i wanted to put some ideas for all you here.
okay, i didnt know it removed other combos. that really sucks, because i was thinking of like remaking combos, make em work with other items. ... like, instead of gloves + motor oil ... would be gloves + gasoline, and gloves + cooking oil ... gloves + alcohol .... (all 4 will make the same ) ... although sorta a waste of time i suppose, itd just be cool to have.
i was hoping maybe, if there is ever a possibility to have depletable weapons sources, then that would be a backup.. (although ive read you infinity guys cant find a way thatd work) hopefully the new dead rising: off the record, it will be able? ... who knows??
like i was thinking, just .. serving tray (arrows)+ (not sure what... 2x4??? broom?) = bow and arrow ... not necesarily gotta make a new model to make it look like its made of those things...

you're welcome to look into the combo thing a little further. When you turn an item into a combo item it works perfectly with the workbench and such so MAYBE there's just something you have to change so that it doesn't delete a different combo.
