Sup guys, Just another quick swap here, nothing fancy. rapidshare.com/files/423405432/Soldier1.rar Now YOU can play as one of America's finest. Again, nice and easy to do... 1.) Use the BIN unpacking program found all over this site to unpack your npc.big from your model folder. Make sure you use Gibbed.DeadRising2.Unpack.exe, sounds obvious but it can get a little confusing in there. 2.) Paste in the contents of the RAR. Included is the bigfile.xml that Wizard so thoughtfully provided. 3.) Repack it using Gibbed.DeadRising2.Pack and pop it back in to the original folder. I suggest making a backup of the original npc.big just in case. 4.) He uses chucks basic skeleton and anims so no replacements needed there. 5.) Enjoy! PS. This guy looks suspiciously like Chuck, dont'cha think? Also, this is a cutscene model, so now we know they work in game

all of the mods on this site work on the xbox360 ps3 and my pc version but when i do the model replacements it will crash on the Capcom logo pc exits with an exception error and ps3 and xbox stop on the logo with the ps button and the xbox guide button not responding is there something wrong with the files i have redownloaded them 25 different times and on different computers. I'm stumped i think the console version stops because it is a different file size when modded orginal file is 413MB and modded is 408 MB on both xbox and ps3

All of the model swaps do the same thing. shamrock is there any way you can edit this into the underwear model then i can try because i tried renaming the files then repacking and if i do that the ps3 and xbox version get past the logo but if i go change it freezes. the pc version still freezes at the logo

I got it to work on my ps3 version i had to unpack my NPCS.big and then up pack Chest_naked.big delete everything in that folder and unpack cine_solider.big and copy all the files to the empty folder then copy and rename rename cine_solider.tex to Chest_naked.tex and replace it then repack my file was 412 MB and it loaded past the capcom logo then a just went to the locker and equipped the naked clothes and Viola. there is one bug the gloves are not complete and the pants look like they are ripped so you can see the part of the underwear through them and because it replaces the naked model even though it has shoes it doesn't make the sound of shoes its the sound of him barefoot this can be fixed by equipping a pair of shoes preferably the black military boots found in the gun store

u can only replace with the cine_solder.big and .tex or the solider 2r1.big and tex the other 2 cause the game to freeze when you try to equip and can someone else try this and find out how to fix the gloves and the pants

to get rid off Chucks body coming through, u need to edit the bigfile.xml and remove the entries like legs_naked etc. This will prevent them from being loaded. I also have no idea why my version is not working as it's fine on mine.

do i need to edit the one in the bigfile.xml in the npcs.big or in the the naked.big file. I think it could be that the model files are slightly different for the console versions than the pc version i fixed my pc version the file wasn't named right but when i manually edit the model files on the ps3 and xbox versions then it will load and thanks for the help.

You need to edit the one in the npcs.big root directory. And now worries pal, it was probably a screw up on my end anyway!

my internet has been messed up for awhile this is @ snookimcsnookster. to mod the xbox version u have to have either a jtaged or a flash dvd drive on ur xbox. with a jtag u can edit the filesin real time or with a flashed dvd drive u can extract the file from the iso edit them repack pack it as an xbox 360 iso then u can play ur edited version I have had the mod since i found out how to do it on xbox and ps3 and i have not been banned and as far as i can tell they cant tell its been modded because they have to have the edited files as well for the mod to apper on their screen its just like the pc version if u have the mod u will be the solder but any 1 u play with will c u as chuck unless they have the same exact mod on thiers. and as far as the ps3 theres no way to sign in because u have to update to sign but then u cant do the jailbreak to play ur edited version. but if a future update makes the NPCS file install to the harddrive on the ps3 then we can edit the file and update the ps3 then sign in only problem is we cant change the file after the ps3 updates because we cant jailbreak on firmware >3.41
