This Dead Rising 2 Steam Community thread (https://steamcommunity.com/app/45740/discussions/0/359543542250652012/) gave me the answer I was seeking. Bless them for this invaluable discovery. For those interested, the address (assume it's the same for all computers) is 00D50D00. The value is set to 12 initially, which makes the game take 6 hours real time to play. The lower you set the number, the long the game takes. The equation is 72 / <timescale> = <real time hours>. Here are the instructions:
1) Once you have the game open, select the program in Cheat Engine.
2) Then, click the Manually Add Address button in the lower right part of CE (above the lower text box) and type in the address 00D50D00.
3) It will add that location to the list in the text box. Then, double-click the value (which should be 12), and change it to what scaling number you want. 4) Save the value and enjoy the experience.
I already test it, and it works smoothly! I recommend setting the value to "6", to avoid the game to be slow. Cheers!
