Many people aren't aware of any unused content in DR3, as there isn't much info online. Most people only know about the cut sniper rifle model and the cutman helmet. Luckily, I've found quite a lot of things, but I won't go over them all here, just some of them
Originally, all survivors were able to defect. They have unused lines for doing so. They all involve swearing, so I put a spoiler over them. Click it to show 4 defecting lines.
For the rest of these, to save time, only Simon will be used as an example.
Survivor weapons would originally break, and they'd react in surprise, followed by asking for another weapon.
SIMON: "Stupid, useless, weapon!"
SIMON: "I NEED A WEAPON, HURRY!"
They'd also comment on their lack of ammo.
SIMON: "AGH! I'm low on ammo!"
Survivors wouldve originally commented on the sun going down/up.
SIMON: "Well, I'm as ready as I'll ever be!"
SIMON: "Behold, the sun cometh!"
Originally, you could kill Kandy in Lesser Evil and recruit Big D. Unfortunately, barely any text is available. The only text remaining is Big D's line for when theres too many survivors in Nick's posse.
BIG D: "Dawg, I ain't hangin' with these shitheads. I think I'll find a new crib to hang at. Hit me up if you need me."
In Will Or Away, if Warren died, he would've dropped a will, which could've been brought to Phil
NICK: "Oh, hey. Did the step-son hiding in there slip your mind?"
DICK: "You wanna hear something funny? I found a kid hiding in there."
PHIL: "Oh yeah! Sorry about that but it wasn't any of your business. You got the will?"
NICK: "Yeah, I got it. Guess your day just got a whole lot richer. So what's my reward?"
DICK: "Yup. Guess you'll be off to enjoy your riches now. What's my reward?"
PHIL: "ME! Haha! Now that's a deal kid. Come on, let's get outta here."
If there were too many survivors in Nicks posse:
PHIL: "Hey kid, this deal was between you and me not all these other leeches. I'm gonna lie low some place safe if you need me."
In Blood Barter, if Nick recruited Jesse but didn't pick up Troy's locket, going back to Troy would result in this:
TROY: "YOU! YOU SOLD ME OUT! You're just like them! You liar!!"
NICK: "Man, what the hell is that guy talking about?"
DICK: "That dude just went OFF, man. What got up his drawers?"
JESSE: "I dunno. Maybe he's just an old associate of my former boss."
In the same mission, upon entering, Nick/Dick would've said:
NICK: "Hey, guys. you seem pretty chill considering there are zombies everywhere."
DICK: "Hello!"
If Jesse was talked to, he would've said:
JESSE: "He's done with business, aight? Made his profits from those idiots and moved along! Just like you better..."
Somewhere along the line, Kent would've said:
KENT: "I don't like the look of this schmuck. I think we need to teach him a lesson!"
By far the most interesting cut feature is Stronghold Mode, or "DEAD SIEGE".
Dead Siege was a wave defense mode. Some features of it presumably were reused for Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha.
There would've been a total of 21 selectable characters, including:
NICK
DICK
ANNIE
GARY
RHONDA
JULIA
KANDY
SIMON
MERYL
KYLA
BIG D
KELSEY
PHIL
MATT
WINNIE
RAVI
MARCUS
TROY
DOUG
DWAYNE
ADAM
The player would've had survivors fighting alongside them. There were 3 selectable areas: The Cruise ship, the Hotel, and the Trainstation.
There was a day system similar to Dead Rising 4's multiplayer. Custom music would play in the background, 5 separate tracks, in fact. Most were reused for the trainstation section of Chapter 7. In fact, one of the failure stingers is used for the stinger for when bosses are vulnerable for a grapple.
Upon success or failure, survivors would either shout in victory or shout at the others to fallback, in which either a success or failure stinger would play.
Theres an unused "IsStrongholdMode" setting for missions, which for almost every mission is set to "false". One mission has it set to true, and it's a debug mission, spawning you at the trainstations spawn point. It's unknown if eny enemy other than zombies would've appear, but I presume bikers and spec ops would've raided the stronghold as a sort of boss wave.
Playable characters had lines for normal survivor interaction lines, as well as grappling zombies and luring zombies. Examples include:
Follow Me:
SIMON: "Chop chop, this way!"
Search:
SIMON: "Find some useful things!"
Fight:
SIMON: "Help me kill them!"
Giving Item:
SIMON: "Here, try this."
Luring Zombie:
SIMON: "I say, cooey!"
Grabbing Zombie:
SIMON: "Gotcha, you bastard!"
It's interesting that the developers never mentioned this cut mode, at least to my knowledge. As I've said before, there's tons of other stuff, but that's all I can share without spending hours upon hours on this.

SIMON: "Shove it up your ass, you bastard!"
RAVI: "Asshole! How can I trust you now?!"
TROY: "I'm done with your bullshit, you here?"
PHIL: "You cock sucking son of a bitch!"
