Hello guys!
In this thread i will show you how to mod dead rising 2 OFT save files using the cheat engine method
It is very simple and easy job to do.
If you dont want to mod or you are to lazy download the files from this youtube video a friend did.
Let's start with the tutorial.
First.. you need cheat engine which you can download from this link: zipansion.com/2LrmQ
So once you install it
all you need to do is open the cheat engine 64 bit or 32 bit depending on your operative sistem
once you open it this is what you will see
You see that rainbow shining computer? that you click on
Then it shows you the running processes of your computer
And if you have open the dead rising it will show you the process whick you open..
Then here comes the difficult part you need to search and modify the values of the things you want
If you want to modify money where it says Value:
You put your money, for example if you have 10.000 you put 10000 without dots or commas..
So you put your money in the value space and then you click on First Scan
And a lot of values will appear. Then you go in the game and gain some money like you put in the value space 10000 and now you have 11000 you put 11000 on the value space and then you click on second scan..
If a lot of values appear you repeat the process till you have 3, 2 or 1 value to change..
Then if you have the values you double click on them and then you have this:
So you have the three values you want to modify you double click on the value and a box appears
There the actual value appears and thats what you change
For example you have 11000 and you change it to 999999999 3 times if you have 3 values and the same with 2 or 1
And now in the game you have 99999999 of money..
BUT...
You want more...
You want the LVL 50 and the zombie kills..
You repeat the same process as with the money Its pretty simple if you know how to do it
Its been a pleasure teaching you how to modify the save files...
And this process works in another games too
