WIP: Locked costumes for single player use.

So I found out we can mess with BIN files now, and I started messing around. I found out how to unlink clothing items so we can mix and match, I also found a way to flag unused or locked outfits as being DLC that will be available in your closet. This includes the exo suits and Adam the Clown. I did find files for a SWAT uniform, but its... really broken and only partially rigged.

Some of these costumes are for the upcoming Capcom Heroes mode.

Yep and they've been in the game since release or in adam's outfits case it's been in since the super mini golf dlc update.

Although it looks like this thread (and forum) have been abandoned, I might just leave this here:

I found a banana hammock in the game files yesterday... it looks unfinished as it's not skinned properly. Gives me the impression that a developer started it and was told to forget about it :-\

Forum has not been abandoned. It is still used. Just most of our discussions take place on the discord now. But yeah a lot of dr3 nick stuff is ported over but not fully working. the super hero outfit is another. One that does work is the ported over dr3 megaman outfit. Totally unused and not used in capcom heroes as an upgrade or something. Been in the files since day one.

Did anyone ever figure out how OP separated outfits? Bugs the hell out of me that the classic Frank outfit has sunglasses tied to it, would love to be able to take them off.

Though I'd also love to just be able to use the damn outfit, but it's bugged for me on PC ever since I lost my save file and started over. I've tried everything and it just refuses to unlock. :/

Edit: Figured out how to do it after digging through the game's files. Though I'll actually share how to do it. Cough.

• Go to your game's installation folder, then follow this path: DeadRising4\data\models\clothing
  
• Back-up face_frank_glasses_m0.mdl and face_frank_glasses_m0.tex
• Copy both face_frank_m0.mdl and face_frank_m0.tex, rename the copied files to "face_frank_glasses_m0"

All done, enjoy not dealing with the dumb glasses anymore. You can mess around and do other model swaps using this same method.
