Upon getting my PIRATED version, I decided to do 2 things: get a trainer and use Cheat Engine. (While I might talk about the trainer later, with a possible warning, I can talk about Cheat Engine, since not a whole lot of anti-virus programs get alarms because of it.)
In short, the results have been disappointing. (Thankfully, however, it does work...up to a degree.)
To start, the speedhack (in Dead Rising 1) works in the gameplay side as it makes everything faster, from Frank's speed to the zombie's speed and their frequency of attacking. (The problem is, the timer doesn't work as well as I liked.)
(In other words, in Dead Rising 2, if you were to put the speedhack to x20 speed, you would be able to fast forward the game until you got to your favorite mission. However, in Dead Rising 1, the speedhack seems to only respond with the timer to x10 speed, which would be fine by itself, if it weren't for the fact that the timer really seems to be going twice as fast, not 10 times as fast.) (Which means you can't fast-forward until your favorite part...)
