A lot of people (including yours truly) have been experiencing problems running Dead Rising on Windows 7.
One of the most previlent problems is the lack of in-game audio. Here's a possible fix I found which solved the situation for me.

Well, it didn't helped me,but I managed to fix sound issue by installing eight updates listed on this site: www.askvg.com/fix-windows-7-keeps-checking-for-updates-for-hours/ . You can also install Internet Explorer 11 (I'm not joking,some people said that it fixed their problem). P.S. I'm sorry if I made some mistakes - English isn't my native language |
