File Locations
Clothing
Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > common > deadrising3 > Data > models> clothing
DLC Clothing
Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > common > deadrising3 > Data > models> clothing > dlc
What each file gives.
angel = Angel's (Girl) clothing from Episode 2 ( doesn't fit Nick's Head)
hunter = Orange Prison Pants, Shirtless ( Doesn't fit Nick's Head)
spec_ops = Kane's outfit from Episode 1 ( Fits perfectly)
zdc_agent = Main Character's outfit from Episode 4 ( Works 90%, little clipping with nick's head)
ep1 = Hemlock's Outfit ( No reason to mess with this as the top only really macthes the pants)
ep2 = Punk clothing given to Nick for having Episode 2
ep3 = Biker Leader outfit given to Nick for having Episode 3
ep4 = Bloody outfit given to Nick for having Episode 4
How to replace items
*Before we begin, make sure you always make back ups of the files you are replacing.*
Firstly you want to find the files you want, you may get confused when you see 4 versions of the same item. Keep in mind they are ALL the same, the only difference that you need to keep in mind are if they are .tex files or .big files.
Next you find the clothes that you want to replace, I recommend clothing you already have ( Obviously).
*I reccommend bringing copies of all of the files you are editing to a different location ( Like a new folder on your Desktop) to avoid any confusion.*
Now the only files you really need are the Chests and Legs as shoes don't make too much of a difference.
As an example of the files you will need, I will demonstrate with random items.
For the Chest ( TOP = Chest you want BOTTOM = Chest you are replacing)
chest_dlc_spec_ops_m0.big
chest_dlc_spec_ops_m0.tex
chest_adultpajama_m0.big
chest_adultpajama_m0.tex
For the Legs ( TOP = Legs you want BOTTOM = Legs you are replacing)
legs_dlc_spec_ops_b_m2.big
legs_dlc_spec_ops_b_m2.tex
legs_adultpajama_m0.big
legs_adultpajama_m0.tex
At this point all you need to do is copy the name of the regular clothing file, and rename the new clothing to the exact name of the regular file.
*( Make sure you have the original files in a different folder as you cant have two files with the same name in the same folder)*
Lastly you will copy your newly made files and paste them back in to the location listed below.
Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > common > deadrising3 > Data > models> clothing
Load up your game and the pajamas you get in the game will now load up the Kane DLC clothes!
Notes
If all you are wanting to do is make the clothing, then don't mess with the files " head_default_m0.tex" or "head_default_m0.big"
You can replace any clothing, they don't need to be part of the same set, it's just easier to remember which is which if you do though.
You can also do this with hats,faces, and shoes. They use the same process.
