So those who view the dr1 models and textures in noesis will know a few characters and near enough all the loading screens have a weird see through texture and once exported usually look like this...
Here is Ed's face texture exported normally from Noesis as a example
Now after a bit of talking with Stipo about some settings we can use to get the texture looking more normal and viewable and my own initiative. I have found a way to get see through weird HD textures like Ed's looking like...this!
Now how do you get textures to look normal like that? Well here is how you do it.
1. In Noesis once you have found the folder that has the character's see through texture or a loading screen, go to view and you see the "background colour 1" and the "background colour 2"? Click on them and set the BG colours to black. This will now make the texture/loading screen appear normal.
2.But hold on there. Cause even if you expor from noesis with these settings on the exported texture file will return it back to it's messed up setting.
3. Now go back to view and unlock the "model controls" option. This will get rid of the icons. Now from here you need a screen capturing program like Fraps for example that can take screen shots of your computer screen. Cause now comes the fun bit.
4. Once you have the fraps or whatever program on, click view again and go in to full screen, once it is in full screen capture a screen shot of it.
5. Well done. But the work isn't over yet. You will notice it will capture a bit of the black section that isn't needed on the texture, so open up paint or any other image editing program and crop out the black bit you don't need, feel free to resize the image back to it's normal resolution if you want.
6. Well done! You now have the texture you wanted and couldn't get before! Have fun being able to use the more HD texture for characters and having those lovely loading screens!
Also take note that you may have to piece together the texture again as going in to full screen on some PCs and laptops may cut off the bottom or sides of textures. So be wary of that too.
