I never see the logo, I run the program, the screens goes to black, and after 2-3 mins it crashes. and lastly did not mean any ill will with the "1337" comment it was my way of joking around because all this has me frustrated cause this isn't the only game that is messing up on me, I spent about two hours wondering why GW2 was not working to just find out my firewall was blocking it with out notifying me...
I tried running in compatibility mode, tried changing the resolution, re-installing , even herd it could me a sound problem. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hmmm try going to "My Documents" then to your "My Games" folder then open the Dead Rising 2 Off The Record folder and delete the rendersettings.ini
This may be the problem as I had this issue a while back when I reinstalled OTR.As soon as I deleted the rendersettings.ini everything was wprking again. Also no worries about the 1337 thing.I just don't like people who use that annoying game language. XD

As weird as it might be, change your "audio" settings (on windows) to 24bit 4800Hz (studio audio). Untick the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" box as well, and try again.
