But I want the model to replace chuck in OFF THE RECORD for when co-oping with my friend. I don't want it for DR2, cause this is the OTR mod request section lol.

Well you should have been clearer saying you wanted it for co-op Chuck.The way you said it made it sounded as if you wanted it for DR2's Chuck as well.Anyway I may take a go at this for you later if I have the time. |

This should actually be pretty easy/quick to do. Can just set her up as an outfit so that both Frank and chuck(co op) could "put her on". I may take a crack at it later today.
Edit: Do you have a basic understanding of OTR modding?

Not really, no sorry Just to make it clear.You said you don't know how to install the OTR mods?Because that is what tommah is asking you.  Also tommah I don't think Stacy can be added as a new outfit.But I will see how that turns out first. |

Ummm no, not really. Honestly, I just came on here searching for a stacey catsuit mod because I've been playing DR2OTR vanilla style so far, but I couldn't find one.

I mentioned in the thread of the released version that the game keeps crashing when you leave the safe room wearing the 'Stacey' outfit. A friend of mine is also experiencing this crash, is anyone else?
Would just completely replacing Chuck with Stacey stop the crashes? If so, I'd rather her just completely replace chuck and not bother with outfits. Can anyone please tell me how I can do that? Is it basically finding what file chuck is sitting in, then replace it with Stacey's file renamed to chucks? I have looked thru a few files, but still can't find where chuck or frank is. I'm assuming they aren't in the npcs.big file

I actually think the problem lays within the model itself. I have no trouble using the model within the safe room, or when running around looking at the ground, but as soon as I look at a crowd of zombies, the game crashes. I'm pretty sure its because the catsuit model might use more rescources due to its high poly? I'm not sure, I tried turning down my PC settings, but exact same crash, same goes for my friend.
I dunno, I just think its strange that the game suddenly crashes as soon as I look into a crowd of zombies.
This is exactly what I do:
Unpack Stacey.rar
Put datafile.big in SteamApps\common\dead rising 2 off the record\data
Unpack npcs.big
put the files from the stacey.rar's 'in npcs.big' folder into now unpacked 'npcs_big' folder.
Press yes to copying and Replacing the .xml
Drag the npcs_big folder into the gibbed pack.exe
Rename 'npcs_big.big' to 'npcs.big' then put that in SteamApps\common\dead rising 2 off the record\data\models

As I've also already said, the mod can't be conflicting with any other mod, I've only got this one installed on a clean DR:OTR installation

Solid, did you just take my code or are you using the full datafile.big? |
