And why would you not trust something from GCW? In my experience, everything from that site has worked. Anyway, the most likely problem for TC is that the game was updated. Trainers seem to not work on the newest version of DR2. Thanks izanagi I had some AVG trojan warnings pop up when running one of the trainers, but that is common with trainers. The same thing happened to me with texmod. Thank you jayce for your advice. I modified the exe file with the debugger. I will try to run the trainer without the debugger, to see what happens, but that destroys the whole reason I wanted this trainer in the first place, to make a panorama floating over the strips....can't do that without the debugger. Update:I changed all the options to original and started the trainer: Then started the game. When I pressed F3 and the computer woman verbally said "option enabled" but the zombies in the stadium during slicycles did not die. I tried 5 other options, and none worked. Here are the options: INSERT - ENABLE TRAINER NUMPAD1 - UNLIMITED HEALTH NUMPAD2 - UNLIMITED MONEY NUMPAD3 - UNLIMITED AMMO NUMPAD4 - INDESTRUCTIBLE WEAPONS NUMPAD5 - ADD 25.000 PP POINTS NUMPAD6 - ADD 1500 KILL ZOMBIES NUMPAD7 - UNLOCK ALL INVENTORY SLOTS NUMPAD8 - MAX ATTACK NUMPAD9 - MAX SPEED NUMPAD0 - MAX THROW DISTANCE NUMPAD. - SUPER PLAYER LEVEL NUMPAD/ - UNLIMITED SURVIVORS HEALTH NUMPAD* - ONE HIT KILLS NUMPAD+ - INCREADE CLOCK MINUTS NUMPAD- - DECREASE CLOCK MINUTS F1 - INCREASE CLOCK HOURS F2 - DECREASE CLOCK HOURS F3 - EXTERMINATION MODE ON F4 - EXTERMINATION MODE OFF F5 - SAVE POSITION F6 - LOAD POSITION F7 - INCREASE PLAYER/SURVIVORS SPEED F8 - DECREASE PLAYER/SURVIVORS SPEED F10- FREEZE CLOCK TO 7:00 F11- UNFREEZE CLOCK HOME - DISABLE ALL www.sicheats.com is where this comes from. any suggestions?

Hey tab, I am just really happy that you helped point me in the right direction. Tab regarding you losing interest, have you guys noticed that the amount of mods posted here has really dropped? Seems like others are losing interest too. Dude, anno1404, quit your whining. It's not like he told you to read a book. Anyway, was that you that posted that Texmod tutorial? It looks a lot like my tutorial, except it has screencaps, and the wording is slightly different, and a bit more...engrishy. We are all here to work together. Yes, I adapted this tutorial from three of the tutorials here, maybe one of them was yours. If you want me to put a big adopted from izanagi's text only tutorial I would be happy to. I appreciate your work and assistance here Izanagi. Thank you. I really love this forum and have been really excited by all of the possibilities it has opened up for the wikia I work on. The idea of a birds eye panorama is so exciting to me.

In this trainer Dead Rising 2 v1.0 +21 TRAINER it states: Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem! This trainer does not work for me. It makes noise that it is activated, but nothing happens. I am running the game directly from my computer with no disk and not with daemon tools. I always play in debugger mode (modified exe). What is "No-CD or Fixed EXE" I have no cd, what is a Fixed exe? Any suggestions?

I'll give you guys a hint: Read the 3rd page of this thread, tab tells you the important files in the datafile for his weapons... .. . and there are tutorials for how to open your datafile. It's pretty easy stuff, like winzip, and there are plenty of tutorial threads about it. Use your eyes & brain! That is not fair. Some of us are not programmers and there are literally HUNDREDS of files which can be modified, and dozens of posts in this thread. It isn't fair to expect readers to devote as much time to this forum as we have. In addition, the way forums are set up, it is generally difficult to find information. That is why I started to post tutorials etc. on dead-rising.wikia.com unfortunately that hasn't taken off. Updatehere is the information referred to (thank you!), without the tone. Here is the threadedit: also the primary files in my mod are the items.txt, safehouse.txt and sgraph.txt
at the top of the items.txt are my items, you can just copy/paste them into someone else's items.txt while still having my dynamicprops folder and it will work perfectly together
all of my items are at the top of the safehouse.txt too, and both files have commentary marking where they start or end, marked by //tabmod or something like that
sgraph.txt is where the melee changes are, so leave that alone if you don't want that feature Get rid of all zombies on the stripI would just like to be pointed to the files where Tab increased the zombies so I can decrease them to 0. (I want to make sophisticated panoramas from far above--the length of the entire strip). Here is a hint for me: regarding the zombie thing, i'm not entirely sure what is going on with that
it seems to fluctuate based on the timer, and all the zombies in front of the stage have definitely dissapeared (which makes the band rescue weird) the method i used seems to have worked overall, by editing the zombiefactory settings but it's definitely weird Tab or ubtri we depend on you so much! I am not a programmer but because people are patient with me, I have managed to create the best non-video texmod tutorial and I may have been the only person who had two tutorials featured in the neoseeker article. I am willing to continue to contribute a lot to this forum, but I continue to need help along the way from you guys! Thank you.Update:I found this post about removing zombies.

I had to try like 3 times before I was able to position that close without ending up zooming past it. ;D thanks gibbed. More karma for you Incredibly frustrating huh? I see that the picture is not very high quality, meaning you have a slow computer like me. Anyone think a xbox 360 controller help?Here is the best I could do: Here is a table of all magazines, many with pictures thanks to you gibbed, and everyone else who helped!

IT WORKS! IT WORKS! Now I need to spend hundreds of dollars on a better computer because mine is SO slow. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALL Gibbed, how in the world were you able to angle the magazine so close? All that works is: - w key, which jumps forward to much and
- the mouse, which simply rotates where the w key moved you.
Would an xbox 360 controller help? I plan on creating a tutorial on how this all works and how it can be done, as I have done here with texmod. (I will post this on tutorials too)

Thank you agret, I will look forward to this! UPDATE:Agret tutorial is here
I used the downloaded file with the modified deadrising2.exe file which agret was awesome enough to upload (above). Works normally. Thank you. How do I know if I am in debug mode? Gibbed had wrote: With debug mode you can press F2 to activate a fly camera (pressing F2 will then teleport Chuck to where the camera is).I press f2 and nothing happens....I then move the mouse track ball and W, and I move normally. I added this: enable_dev_features="True" test_mode="True"
size_window_x="1024" size_window_y="768" OverrideRenderSettings="True" RenderFullScreen="False"
RenderLocalPlayerPosition="True"
enable_quickie_debug_menu="True" enable_dev_only_debug_tiwwchnt="True" enable_debug_jump_menu="True" test_jumps_enabled="True"

This is the continuation of a discussion trying to zoom in on objects.I would like to modify deadrising2.exe so I can run debug mode. Based on these instructions: To properly enable debug mode, you need to change a single byte in deadrising2.exe from 1 to 0 -- this will enable the game to load settings from master.ini and user.ini.
Be warned that editing deadrising2.exe will completely break GFWL from working at all.

What is the difference between
Reskin Modifications vs model modifications
It appears that reskin is changes to chucks clothing or another survivor's clothing
were as
model modifcations are who the player plays and tend to be more extreme a change.
Is this semi-accurate?

Gibbed I got the game because of your advice, thank you! Gibbed wrote: With debug mode you can press F2 to activate a fly camera (pressing F2 will then teleport Chuck to where the camera is).I jumped to Tape it or die 2 mission in debug jump, so the wonderful debug works. Problem is, when I press F2 I just go to the map. I press F2 again, and nothing happens. Can you expound on what I should do? Update: Gibbed I added your ini file above. now when I press F2 strange things happen, the map pops back up automatically, sometimes the map information is on the side, but the map is missing, and I can see chuck and the regular screen. Restarted game:When I am in the locker room after pressing Debug jump, nothing happens when I press F2. When you say debugger, do you mean this debugger? found by allcases?Can someone post a brief video on what this looks like? Please. Here is the continuation of this conversation.
Gibbed wrote above: With debug mode you can press F2 to activate a fly camera (pressing F2 will then teleport Chuck to where the camera is).When Gibbed says "debug mode" does he mean the debug mod that allcases found? I can't get the camera to zoom in on the debug mode, and Gibbed has not responded. Gibbed posted this picture showing it is possible, what is the green text in the corner, I tried to google this text with no luck. Please help. I have been trying for 3 days to figure this out.

Can this mod zoom in close to items? If not is there another mod that can? The reason I ask is I am part of dead-rising.wikia.com we have over 8,500 pictures, mostly of Dead Rising. Problem is Chuck has no camera, so it is difficult to get good screenshots of items to add to the website. I have the xbox 360 version but would be willing to shell out another $60 for this feature alone. Thank you in advance.
Field of view 100
From closed thread, Wider Field of View Posted by ubtri© on Oct 5, 2010, 1:42pmJust wondering if anyone could tell me how to edit my Field of View.
*edit ---- Download the Wider FoV MOD here or read below to learn how to edit it yourself (it's easy)
*editedit -- I just uploaded a video, and you can see how my view looks with it modified!
Posted by Wizard on Oct 5, 2010, 3:02pm Seems to me he just pushed back the Camera, which that by itself would give you much better field of view. You can edit the Camera by extract Datafile.BIG, and editing the Camera.TXT file.
Hope this was helpful. Posted by ubtri© on Oct 5, 2010, 3:08pm I downloaded the .big extractor from your tutorial thread, but am confused about what does what. I am no good at modding, personally!
Thanks for your patience and help! Posted by Wizard on Oct 5, 2010, 3:19pm Unpack = Extraction Pack = Repacking the .BIG File
So click'n'drag the Datafile.BIG over the Unpack.EXE, do your edits, then drag the edited folder over Pack, and it'll build you a new .BIG
Hope it works out! Posted by ubtri© on Oct 5, 2010, 3:23pm wow thanks a ton!
*edit - It worked Changed my FOV to 60 (Default was 43, ick) Posted by jimfinlay on Oct 5, 2010, 3:31pm Hello!
Don't forget you can change the FOV for different scenarios, for example when you're driving/skateboarding/pushing a wheelchair - the default FOV on the bike is pretty tight so you might want to make that larger as well! Posted by ubtri© on Oct 5, 2010, 3:56pm Where are the fov's for those particular scenarios? In the camera.txt file or?
*edit - glad to see you joined, been following your DR2 mods on youtube! Posted by jimfinlay on Oct 5, 2010, 4:22pm Hi,
Yes, all the values are in camera.txt, for example you have StandardMotorcycleCam, VehicleCam, etc.
I've just posted another video as well, showing Denyce (the lady in the pharmacy) being replaced by Snowflake (possible spoilers..). I'm working on a "film noir" look now (using the in-game post processing), this is getting quite fun! Posted by ubtri© on Oct 5, 2010, 5:42pm I changed the fov on motorcycle & vehicle but didn't see skateboard or wheelchair pushing... Would you mind letting me know exactly what they are called so I can "find" them?
I saw the video with Snowflake replacing Denyce, that's awesome Posted by ripc on Oct 5, 2010, 7:36pm

*edit - It worked Changed my FOV to 60 (Default was 43, ick)
It seems that 60 is quite the optimal FOV, it seems just right for me on 1650x1024. With the same concept I've currently been testing/tweaking a First Person Aiming Modification with camera.txt I'll post it if I get it working nicely. Posted by ubtri© on Oct 5, 2010, 7:40pm Yea.. I come from a strong FPS background and am not too happy with the sloppy mouse sensitivity in DR2 when aiming firearms... Would love to see that more optimized, if that's what you are talking about
Posted by ripc on Oct 5, 2010, 7:54pm Not entirely, I was more thinking of changing the Camera to where the Gun is, although I'll look into that. I do have to admit the "Mouse-Smooth" like featured in other games is incredibly annoying and leaves you feeling like you're playing with an X360 Analog stick on your mouse. Posted by ripc on Oct 6, 2010, 1:45am I'll release the FOV Mod (60) in the releases section. Posted by ubtri© on Oct 6, 2010, 1:51am

Sounds good I just edited the basics for 60, not sure what 90% of the rest of that camera.txt file was for and didn't want to screw anything up Posted by ripc on Oct 6, 2010, 1:58amYeah, the release will be just the basics until I'm able to update it with some further interesting things.
