hello,
There is a code when using cItemPlacement called "PropState"...
when you do not use this the item is spawned and drops to the ground. When placing items, I usually use
PropState = "-2"
this spawns an item at a location in mid-air (or wherever you spawn it) and allows you to walk through it like it doesn't exist
HOWEVER, recently I noticed another value of "PropState"
PropState = "-1"
and guess what this is used on.... Vehicles. For example the Sports Car in royal_flush.txt which you are able to jump and walk on.
I have not tested this myself on the Bridge or anything, but I figured you might be interested as I think this would solve the problem

you weren't able to change the Emote in items.txt for the animation?
*Update*
looking into it I don't think you can remove the animations, I tried changing the value to a number that doesn't have an animation attached to it and tried removing it completely. In both instances it reverted to Chuck's animation for changing into default clothes.
I honestly think the best course of action is just changing it to either the coolest or the quickest animation... my opinion is the Protoman animation, that's a pretty cool thing to start out with

if you had the Chuck's a Chick mod yes... the problem isn't the skeleton, its that the hat wouldn't line up on chuck's head

you're on the right track, I did grab it from another model but it would've been impossible to get it from a female model... If I were to get it from one of those chicks the helmet would be in the middle of chuck's head with chuck's forehead popping out the front.
No I used boss_mercenary in the npcs.big and edited the SceneDescription file in "boss_mercenary.big" to delete everything cept the helmet, then swapped it over the headwear_Wild_Frontier_Hat.big and .tex. The biggest problem was figuring out which mercenary had the helmet.

Strange request, but COMPLETED nevertheless.... Download HERE, just place it in your npcs.big file and put on the Wild Frontier hat, there's a store in the Royal Flush Plaza with the hat.

for some reason the hat is blue. I'm trying to take it from the mercenaries from "Take the money and run" Case 3-2... but when I try to get the mercs they show up as blue instead of yellow.... strange

If you tried getting the Tools from this forum then I've had a lot of people have problems with them recently.... Download from HERE and it should work. way ahead of you

hey 2coins,
I have tried this but it does not work. There's no Locator in the Construction Hat 3D model that says it goes on the head so when I tried it "just in case" it just spawned the Hat floating in the middle of my body.
In my experience, crossing things from weapons/items into clothing doesn't work so well. However, I have not tried Items that you wear, such as the beerhat or the moosehead. Those kind of files MIGHT work since they have a locator built into them that puts it on their head.

Badass... this will definitely make modding missions easier. It'd be awesome to do this for sgraph.txt but that's such a jumbled mess it could drive a person insane.

you may want to be more specific on what you would want those characters to be doing... do you just want them to follow you, attack you, or just stand there looking at you.
The more specific you can be the better chance someone might do it for you.

**UPDATE**Archie's Outfitsimple but badass... Archie from Case Zero... Anno1404 showed me Archie one day, noticed it was in the files and decided to use just his outfit. just put on the Tir Outfit without the Helmet Download link on first post of this thread

whatever you decide.... they're just sitting there right now only being used by me. a Poll of Melee weapon, Ranged weapon, or Area of Effect (maybe think of a different name) weapon might help figure out what has a higher demand.

Tom, Katey's arm which holds the bowie knife is at an unnatural angle. Suggestions? Edit it out, or something else? We have some really good skeletal modders maybe I can invite them back to help... I have no idea, same thing happened when I tried model swapping Katey... one thing though is Katey can't be hit, though I think that adds to the atmosphere. by the way, I have a few reward candidates... after I upload them I'll give you the link so you can decide which one(not going to release them)
Just for kicks, I think the safehouse should be swarmed with zombies (since you figured out how to enable attacking in safehouse)... And I mean wall to wall swarmed.

great start to the Infinity Mode, I test it and sure enough it surprised me... especially like the one group of zombies all carrying dildos... my only comment is more zombies. other than that, great

HERE is the Infinity mode intro goes in data/frontend/
regarding replacing the Nvidia icons. they are two separate pictures and I believe there is a space between them, so I'm pretty sure there would have to be two different pictures if you want to replace them.... maybe one with zombies and one with survivors attacking, I dunno. but its definitely two different pictures

In srv_woodrow3 (I believe) its called megamanhelmet... so its not protoman.

I thought you might say that about your name... I didn't feel bad about that though cause this is mostly your project/idea and I also gave credit to the community. But if you don't want your name on there then I have no problem removing it.
I could make the font bold on the website, it kinda fades out which was intention and easier to see when its actually in front of you. But I'm thinking maybe I didn't that a little too much.
I couldn't think of anything for the nvidia screen and thought it might get boring looking at a blank screen for like 15 seconds or so, so I left it in. If anyone has any ideas I'll throw them in there.
