I was thinking that we can come up with a real specific narrow problem that all the community is facing, that we can focus on. Every month (or two weeks) we can propose ideas, then from those ideas, vote on what the community should focus on. We can then change the banner to advertise what the focus will be with a link. Hopefully those experienced lurker editors who are passing will take a minute to look at the problem. So please propose ideas which we can all vote on in a couple of days. April question | How do garbage cans and cardboard boxes spawn weapons? | Solved | Tab | May question | I would like the community to help find where the coordinates of the solid surfaces are, where the floors and the walls are placed, which stops Chuck from falling through the floor or walking through the walls. | Solved | Ubiquitous | June question one | In Chuck the Role Model, the Zombie in the stall has a specific number, 8971800068736514. Other zombies also have specific numbers. Where can these numbers be found for all individual zombies? | Unsolved | - | June question two | In the introduction cutscene Meet the Contestants the victim Carlos is not wearing any glasses, even though his model has glasses. The removal of particular clothing (MeshEvent) is done in several cutscenes.
How can we add clothes to survivors in the regular game? | Unsolved | - |

My proposal:
I realize this is a long shot in the community being interested in this, but here it goes.
There has been little focus of the community on the environment (walls, ceilings, floors, unmovable furniture). I would like the community to help find where the coordinates of the solid surfaces are, where the floors and the walls are placed, which stops Chuck from falling through the floor or walking through the walls.
If I remove the floors and walls, these boundaries still remain.

My second (long shot) proposal: Figure out What determines what falls out of broken weapons? , like a cardboard box.
I know there is a category for each broken weapon (like the cardboard box), and a default category for each weapon (like the cardboard box), but I don't know where those categories are at.Tab figured this out! breakable.csv

I think this is a great idea Anno, it gives us drive to try and figure out certain parts of modding the game in chunks. Collision would probably be extremely hard to edit by hand, though...

Okay, ubiq. was able to find all of the collision files for the environment (walls floors, immovable furniture) . I suggest we post a mod challenge to find be able to move the collision locations. If we learn this, we can create new areas

Worse Ubiquitous, used a completely different user name on the chat board, TooLazy... He seems to want to confuse people
