Well this is the latest answer ever lol Just didn't want this to be forever unanswered. Dead Rising CTYD is an enigma. It's nowhere near the quality of DR1, but it uses a lot of assets and sound effects on top of the Resident Evil 4 Wii engine.
I would say if you can find it cheap (like $10 or less) it's worth a look if you're still curious, because it's fascinating how instead of porting a game they essentially made an imitation. I would also say if you never played the OG DR1, you'll be inclined to enjoy it more.
