hey anno, thanks for the comments. yes the big zombies follow you and I have yet to figure out how to get them to attack the humans.... I would've thought they'd naturally attack anything that was hostile towards you, but apparently not. Any ideas would be hot. TECHNICALLY the dropping the item is intentional.... The only way I could figure out how to only let the player hold one weapon was to turn everything into "large" weapons. It makes things hard, yes, but I decreased the damage to the player, decreased the life of mercenaries, and plan to decrease health of survivors. Let me know what you think. I'm not sure why they cowered, I'll look into it... did any other mission have cowards? I'm glad you like chuck, he's in multiple areas cause I wanted it to feel like he was chasing you. I plan to post it soon, I just want it to be a little more streamline.... also could you try it with the normal EXE to see if mercs spawn? where are they supposed to spawn, royal flush?

There should be 3 groups of looters *EDIT* Please I ran the first mission in debug mode in Royal Flush, the survivors were barricaded into Astonishing Illusions, but there were no looters or mercenaries at all. I searched the entire plaza. This is bad, but also good, this means that the problem is not with debug more and normal mode, but something else.

try starting a new game as that mission is one of the last missions and is on like the 3rd day.

I gave it a try when you posted the link for anno that one night. I was amazed at how good it looked and how well you portrayed your idea. It is a great mod and I hope you get the the issues you are having fixed  Ok so what I noticed was zombies that join you hardly fight and mainly just follow you around. I also saw Chuck spawn in various areas which I thought was pretty cool it reminded me of Resident Evil Nemesis or whatever title it was the one where that big guy kept popping out in random areas at random times  The main flaw I noticed with Chuck, might be with all survivors, is when you punch him once he sort of does a taunt where he raises his arms and just look at you like saying WTF. You can then keep punching him and he will keep doing it so slowly but surely you kill Chuck without much of a fight. I am not sure if this is only with punching him or with him taking damage in general. I ran through 3 areas before I had to quit but I didn't notice any mercs in any of the areas I went through. Areas: -Arena Starting area (Recruitable Zombie) -Americana Casino (Chuck, Recruitable Zombie) -Fortune Exterior (Don't recall) -Royal Flush (Chuck, Looters) Hope your mod gets completed soon because its coming out great so far

yea, the Zombie Hunters don't do much right now... I think I know how to get them more agressive, but I'm not sure if they will attack the mercs/looters. As with Chuck, I'm not sure how to stop him from doing that animation.....hmmm anyone know? (RE3: Nemesis, btw)
yea, those areas are all what I thought would show up, Royal Flush is the only area that spawns looters/mercs. Its completely strange that all the looters and mercs spawn in my debug mode but not any other mode.... This is my biggest motivation killer. It makes it hard to test if I have to use the normal EXE and I don't even know where to start. I spent a lot of time on it just to have it fail so I'm taking a little time away from it.
If either of you have any more ideas feel free to pass them along. Thanks

Anno, I'm not sure what went wrong with your south plaza barricade mission because they all started shooting me.

I'm starting to think that spawning looters/mercs is more picky than I thought.... I just tried changing the looters in Royal Flush to mercs and they didn't show up (yes I changed in missions.txt and zombiesets.txt) .
So I'm at a loss

fixed the lazy zombie hunters, chuck's animation from getting hit (I'm pretty sure), and made zombies very aggressive towards survivors
although still can't make zombie hunters attack survivors
