Coding allows the game to hide/remove items in the cinematic games, is this possible in the game itself?
Carlos, the victim of Leon, is shown with sunglasses in his notebook picture. When you spawn him he is also shown with sunglasses.
But in the video he is shown without sunglasses. So I looked in cinematics.big and found this:
cCineHideMeshEvent svr_glasses_hide_1 { Actor = "srv_carlos" Duration = "140" Mesh = "geo_sunglassesShape" Time = "0" }
This hides the sunglasses on Carlos. Anyone know how to do the same for a non-cutscene? Any ideas? any in-game similarities you can think of? Where something is removed?
This way we could remove items from anything, without messing with the hexeditor.
In addition, in missions you could remove items, then have them return later.
