- Squad commands: Tell individuals to come/go. Give items based on squad position, rather than getting close, pressing B, and praying nothing is in the way. The ability to tell a squad member to use/pick up something by hitting their hotkey when next to an item. Including food and most weapons.
- Ability to set waypoints using the map. Squad members will follow the waypoint without or without you. (your choice) You can even send them through parts of the mall without you, though they will still lose health and run the risk of dying without you.
- Better weapons and more numbers decreases the rate at which the lives of NPCs lowers when you aren't with them.
- NPCs pick up new weapons without waiting for you to hand them everything. Same with food.
- Giving NPCs food does not cause you to swap items with them. They'll drink it and KEEP their weapons.
- NPCs can stand in formation. Reducing friendly fire and providing cover. Everything from following in a line, to fanning out, or forming a perimeter around you. Can be made so that weaker npcs (whether by health or injuries, etc.) will go to "safer" positions in the formation. Such as the center of a circle.
- NPCs can duck when you aim with your cursor, or if they use projectile weapons. Just to reduce friendly fire, and allow you to shoot over them. Think Ashley from RE4.
- MUCH more melee attacks. Flat out Kung-Fu would rock.
- The Rasengan from Naruto. Just because. Other awesome "powers" would also be cool, just so we could have powers to go with any models made that might use them.
- A button that shows the "picture in picture" views of all NPCs following you, even if they are in front of you. Makes it easier to see what they are doing, even at a distance, and immediately check everyone's health.
- Display the health of NPCs under your HUD at the top of the screen. Small picture with a health bar under it would be best. Think Saints Row 2.
- Akimbo pistols and other weapons.
- Clothes that give special abilities. Like a gun belt that increases how much ammo each gun has.
- The abilities gained from clothes to be presented in a separate file, so that anyone who wants to add clothes to the game can take values and tweak them for THEIR mods.
- The ability to reload, and each gun has a clip size.
- More guns. Of varying power and accuracy. All useful though.
- Other friendly NPCs besides the ones packaged with the game. Especially ones that do things besides being rescued. Such as going around killing zombies, or gathering items. Not waiting there like all the others.
- The ability to take survivors back out from the safe house and use them in your party again.
- A chest in various parts of the mall that stores your items. Not many though, just 4. One in the safe room, the other in the far East of the map (where the shortcut is/that flamethrower boss spawns), one on a roof, and one underground. So as not to disrupt the gameplay balance of gathering items as you go and not stockpile everything.
- An item, or clothing item that allows you to put a 2 handed weapon (one that drops if you try to change weapons/doesn't "fit" in the inventory) on your back rather than dropping it.
- The ability to upgrade the mall with various tools to make the game easier/more fun. Everything from extra security cameras that help you find survivors that aren't shown by cases, to sirens that attract zombies.
- Zombies have a population meter in each zone. As you kill zombies in one zone, the population, and thus the number of zombies in that area, decreases for a while. Zombies can also increase in number in different areas. Whether for no reason at all, because you lowered the number in a nearby area, or because people (survivors?) died in an area so zombies swarm there like the hive mind they are. T
his could increase replayabilty greatly, since you might have to take a VERY different route than you normally would because the shortest route is too densely populated. It would also punish you for skipping cases, or allowing survivors to die.
- Bikes keep any modifications made to them.
- There are survivors that upgrade the Safe House for you if rescued. Such as providing more food in the cafeteria, or having custom weapons pre-made and ready for you in the security room.
- After a New Game +, Poker is always available in the Safe Room.
- Squad members take useful orders, such as "Get money" causing them to break Casino games and ATMs and grabbing money for you.
- Survivors have personality traits, so using gluttounous people to find food for you isn't a good idea, and cowards don't fight as well.
- All defeated bosses can be recruited in a New Game+. If used, Achievements will be locked in that playthrough.
- Co-Op team attacks. Such as double lariats, or the "3-D" double DDT wrestling move.
- New watches and other devices that come up when you press the time button.
- Option to have all pages (urgent and otherwise) expire after a certain amount of time being ignored. (not the case, just the call)
- Option to turn down a case when offered, so another might come up instead. (that case will have failed though, and any NPCs involved will immediately die.) Boss fights can't be ignored.
- Save clothes and outfits in the Safe Room's bathroom.
- Option for no fall damage.
- Sprint function.

- A Chuck soundboard. For multiplayer chatting for those w/o mics or who like to RP.
- Similar soundboards for most characters in game, for any model mods that are released.
- Ipod, that plays music as you play.
- Accessory clothing spots, for modded items that change stats. *See above

I figured, but I wanted to throw out as many ideas as possible so that if someone, ANYONE, were ambitious enough to find a workaround...
I just felt it didn't hurt to say, you know?
NEW IDEA: Play as any survivors in your current crew, letting the AI take over Chuck. This could be useful in manually moving survivors who are too stupid to move themselves, or put baby gloves on people that have low health.
