Any chance you can send me your datafile.big? It should be in the dead_rising_2/data folder...I think. Don't know the exact path unless you have the Steam version, in which case: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dead rising 2\data

The corrupt save means that missions.txt has been altered and therefore the data trying to load does not match the file and it won't load due to that. You can still restart story to keep all levels, money, items and such.
As for your issue it sounds like tutorial1, tutorialkatey, or case1-1 may contain errors in it's coding and causing your game to crash since when you skip the intro I think it starts you off on tutorialkatey but I don't remember it's been a while since I had time to look at the files.

Where is the missions.txt located? When I open it what should I do? Here's the link to my datafile.big, but do you also want the one that the mod is using? www.sendspace.com/file/oooyabI can post it tonight. missions.txt is part of datafile.big. datafile.big is located in: capcom/dead rising 2/data/datafile.big you can only open datafile.big with gibbed's mod. |

I reorganized and alphabetized the order of all the female dispenser boxes in the safehouse. (attached) The start spawnpoint is always in room 1, all the other items are removed, and there is a plywood wall also. Attachments:

Not sure what's going on here. I replaced the files with those and it still doesn't work. It still won't load my save either and I'm saved in the safehouse locker room. As soon as I replace with original files that same save works...weird  I guess I can't mod my game. UPDATE: I just did the Rebecca mod and it works fine. I just edited the npcs.big and its fine. I also tried unpacking my original files and replacing them with the unpacked mod files (then repacking), but still the same problems. I think something in mod files is corrupt. Short of remoting into your computer, I don't know what to tell you, I am sorry. |

I wish i knew how to help. So are there any other characters yet you can change into, or just their hair?
Sorry for the confusion, See the pictures above (click the spoiler button). When I tried this mod, all I got was tufts of hair changed on Stacey, not the full models. I actually reopened the compressed zip file twice, and did it again, with the same result. Maybe I used the wrong clothing dispensers, but I think these were actually the clothing dispensers with the models that were supposed to change Stacey. All that changed was the hair :/ I did not change the streamedassets.big for female voice, as I don't care about this, so I skipped these steps: 4.] Unpack your streamedassets.big file, found in your data folder.
5.] Put your choice of voice pack, fx_main.big, into the unpacked streamedassets folder. Make sure to let it overwrite the old fx_main.big file.
6.] Repack the streamedassets folder. But this should not effect the image of the women.  Hope we can figure this out! How exactly did you do that? |

Better yet, can someone tell me how to switch heads and bodies of npcs? For example, Stacey would have the body of one of the Twins.

you'll need a hex editor program.... you can find "UltraEdit" through the download on this post: www.deadrising2mods.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=dr2tools&action=display&thread=4unpack the .big file of the models you want to use and open the "SceneDescription" file within the .big files with the UltraEdit hex editor. remove all the "geo_..." body parts you DON'T want (leaving the parts you want to keep). Pack it up and swap it over one of chuck's body parts. If that's confusing, try finding me on chat and I could go into more detail.... or I guess I could make a tutorial |

For example, you have Stacey's head with one of the Twins' bodies. As for the 6 Kristins, I've tried that already. It coincided with the trip poker segment. 0 is full, 1 is shoes off, 2, is gloves off, 3 is necklace off, 4 is robe off, and 5 is stripped. I'm trying to go for version 4, but with the necklace and gloves still on, but without the awkward shading. Saw a pic in the profile page in the main wiki. Thanks. |

I'm pretty sure that stacey's head with one of the Twins' bodies was a model swap.... but if you want to just change the head, dengarde did a tutorial on something like that. It was only tested on Chuck though, not NPCs

after installing the mod my dead rising 2 keeps on crashing Any solution to this? My dead rising crashes too after installing this mod. I can, however, start a new game and play till chuck wins terror is reality. I see a glimpse of him in the locker after than, and boom. Game crashes. I REAAALLLLLYYYYY want to use this mod, so, "Try uninstalling this mod and running the game" solution is not a solution for me. Thanks in advance. |

I confess, I actually skimmed through page 1 and 4, (Which is what I usually do with long and old topics) and figured I missed something. My problem is exactly the same as Ivorysoul's. As the admin already said, he has no clue about what might be causing this. In any case, I'd just want to let you know that this problem does exist and Ivorysoul wasn't the only one.

Hi guys in having a bug with this mod in the mission slave of fashion, Europa says she isn't going anywhere if chuck isn't in underwear...I go to the store and change clothes but when I go talk to her nothing happens...using the mod options I also tried dressing up as her but that doesn't seems to work either...any ideas?

Under DOWNLOAD theres another link click that, it will say 404 page not found but the file will download anyways. At least it just did for me But I will reup it to another location and post a link for those of you having issues. My upseed sucks so I wont have a link till after work tonight. Merry Xmas DOWNLOAD |

Great mod! However its funny hearing Chuck's grunts when grappled by a zombie. Can someone upload Rebecca sounds or twins sounds? I've tried all sound related threads for the files, unfortunately all of them are invalid or deleted . |

I love this mod and i would REALLY love to play as Crystal Bailey but those damn grunts just ruin everything...!
Does anybody have a female voice backup or can anyone help me with that ?
NO voice at all would be fine for Chuck too if that is easy to do .
Anything that's not a male voice would be awesome !

I know this is a very old thread, but after installing the mod the game is crashing for me when I reach the safehouse for the first time. If anyone could help me out here that would be amazing.
EDIT - NVM, After a computer restart and a fresh install the mod is working.
