Hey everyone, I know Dead Rising CTYD is an oddball of a game, and overall really bad compared to the OG Dead Rising. Lately I did a controller mapping to make it best reflect the 360 game's original controls. After doing so I had a few other ideas for how to make the best of this heavily flawed game, but I am completely new to modding tools and file manipulation.
My main ideas are to delete the (laughable and annoying) zombie poodles and parrots, and if possible, completely remove the majority of the 'roped off' barriers to better open up the limited maps.
Would anyone know the type of work load this would entail? I imagine locating files for particular enemies to be deleted will be manageable, but in removing rope barriers I would be removing those images and the collision where they are located (while maintaining collision with the ground).

Understandable, and I appreciate the details! Too bad this is a pipe dream, but good to know what goes into some of these mods.
