So is there still no way to extract survivor voice clips (requesting help, eating, psycho speech) without extensive knowledge on hex editing? After digging in the files all day today I was annoyed to find like 90 survivor death sounds, plus the music and mall announcements, but no words. I've waited for years for some genius to come through and liberate the noises from the first game, but nothing. Honestly, is there a way these will be realistically obtainable anytime soon?
Appreciate any input, forgive any mistakes as I am new to forums in general.

Yeah, the raw import thing is what I did, but the only sound files are music, bg announcements, and survivor death noises. I am specifically looking to get Frank/Survivor voices and sound effects. Is there a way to locate these and use audacity to import them?
Arc_system_common or however the file is spelt has the audio for Frank's stuff in there. Survivors might have their audio pack in with their npc86g models So anything with a g at the end is the in game model.
Ok, so I've been trying to get ahold of some lines for a while and didn't know where to look because I'm not all that experienced with this sort of stuff. I gave up a while ago, but seeing what Solidcal said about survivor audio being lumped with their models spurred me to take another look, and I finally found what I was looking for! Gonna just sort of infodump everything for whoever needs it:
There's what the others said (Frank = arcromsound_common, survivors = arcromnpccommonnpc_common), and I can confirm for psychopaths that their audio seems to be in the same arc as their models.
Psycho audio should be pretty straight-forward I think, find the filename of the in-game model (I use the wiki) and then find an arc with that name in it, for example Paul's in-game model is em47g, so his audio is in arcromemem47gem47g.
However, Kent is in arcromarea200. He might be the only psychopath that isn't just in an arc all on their own, probably since he starts off as a "friendly" npc. I don't have enough time at the moment to check and confirm that all the other psychopaths are in an arcromem, but just note that you miiight have to look around a bit, if Kent isn't the only one in a different place.
