i am using autodesk 2018, and whenever i try to pack a model, it says something about persistent.big. it even says it when i dont make a change to the model. how do i fix this?

Are you trying to overwrite the original .big file? If yes you have to unpack the .big file first and in the .big file is the persistent.big. You must then export your model to persistent.big And if you don't understand what I mean, let me know.

alright another thing. whenever i attempt to pack, it produces a bigfile.big with nothing in it.

I'm not one hundred percent sure, but it might be because the file is corrupt. How exactly do you proceed?

well, i unpack a .tex, giving me the textures. i pack the bigfile.xml and it produces a .big file with nothing in it

I had exactly the same problem. I think the .big file is empty because the textures are saved as .dds and Autodesk does not convert the .dds file to a Dead Rising texture. I had already tried to convert the file manually but unfortunately the textures were then incorrect in game.

ok, another problem. when i get a lot of blood on my edited character, some of the blood is white. anyone know how to fix this?
