Hi all,
I've just gotten into DR2 modding, and I ran into a few questions.
1). I'm trying to get survivors to use some combo weapons. I set 'SurvivorWeapon = "true"' for both the Spiked Bat and the Pole Weapon, but survivors still refuse to take them. Is there something else I need to do here, or can survivors just not use Combo Weapons, period? This is in Off the Record, if that makes a difference.
2). Is there any way to change the animations (and possibly damage) of a weapon if it's in the hands of a survivor as opposed to yours? I made the Pitchfork into a survivor weapon, and they tend to swing it like they'd swing a golf club -- which isn't too effective, as it seems like the pitchfork barely connects with zombies if they swing it that way. I'd like to have them use it like a spear, if that's at all possible (I mean, Frank/Chuck already jab forward with it...).
3). Those cabinets in the gun shop -- there are a bunch of guns there that you can't pick up. Is there any easy way to get rid of those unusable guns, or are those part of the cabinet/gun shop model itself, and getting rid of them would require editing the model?

4). Weapon retextures. I'm trying to add an alternate texture to the Handgun, much like the Electric Guitar. I've added the following code to the Handgun under items.txt (trying to make it look like an M9 or a Glock there):

However, the Handgun still has its default texture. I've tried substituting a 0 in there, but that didn't work either. (And incidentally, is there a way to apply the Sniper Rifle's texture? That might look a little better, but I don't see a .tex file for the rifle).
