Hey there guys!
I'd like to translate the Dead Rising games into my language, which is Hungarian. I wanted to start with Dead Rising 2 a long time ago, but only now I have the time to do so. Why start with 2? Because the first episode didn't have a PC release... until now. So I thought the second game can wait while I translate the first one.
My question is: I have this Arc tool, and I can unpack and pack files left and right, but I can't seem to find the in-game text.
If anyone has any info on where I should look (or maybe where the text is exactly), then I'd appreciate it.
1.) Download " BCS_TXT.rar " 2.) " BCS_TXT.exe " file move to folder (..\Dead Rising 2\data\frontend) 3.) Drag and drop " str_en.bcs " file onto " BCS_TXT.exe " 4.) " str_en.txt " file will be created, translate and drag again onto " BCS_TXT.exe " 5.) For legal translation "str_hu.bcs" rename and send to game maker.
You can't find the text because they aren't models. The arc files are all models, cinematic models, basically anything that can be seen as a 3d model or texture are in the arc files. For translating the game, you need to find the text inside the exe (I'm pretty sure they're all seperated, I may be wrong)
