I need help testing this as I'm unsure of the results of this. I'd editted the "Effects" file so that the game either reduces or completely removes effects, leading to better performance. This is not a game fix, it is just intended to give some frames per second back to the player. I noticed a difference on my game but it could be a fluke I will not make a bad port into a good port, but if you're like me and want some good ole fashion zombie slaying than a few fps will go a long way. If you want to try it... DOWNLOAD HERE and place into \data\gameplay\ (backup!) ... please let me know of your results, I was quite drastic is changing the effects because I wanted to see if I was on the right track so please don't report that "such-n-such effect was missing or looked weird"... I already know. See Ya! *EDIT* ReUploaded, trying a new route. Please test and report any finding, failed or successful.

What all effects does this turn off or effect roughly?

well it WAS mostly effects from dead cars and blood splattering effects. Works fine if you just use the same save, but if you restart or switch chapters the game will crash so I took down the Link.

Well darnit, that sounds like a really handy mod once we can work the bugs out.

Good idea, can you show us how to just turn off the blood splattering [on the screen] effects to improve performance? I am using Infinite Ammo mod that share the same files of this mod, would be great to use both at the same time, thanks.
