ammunition of ketchup - spawn npcs - red waves

This thread is made for me to ask a question whenever i have one. I have been getting reports from a nice administrator, well not really reports but warnings of what i should not be doing. SOOOOO this thread is for me to ask questions. And if you would answer them i would appreciate it alot! Thanks!

1.) Right now i tried changing the ammunition of ketchup, mustard and mayo, like how its at 100 percent, how can i change the rate of when it decreases and how do i change the ammo number for it? I tried looking in items text but i do not know what to put. i put durability to 99999 but nothing, help? >>>>>>>>>SOLVED<<<<<<<<<

2.) How can you spawn npcs in certain areas? Like i would spawn Danni, the depressed almost was bride to Randy, on the stage in slot ranch casino, and in sandbox, i would make them help me, what files should i go to to do that kind of stuff?>>>>>>>>>SOLVED?<<<<<<<<<<<<<

3.) This is not really much of an issue, but it is annoying. My screen has these red waves and everything has like red little squares like an nes game, you most likely do not know what i am talking about but i want to fix it. I have this issue with all the red, but with dead rising 2 off the record. forums.epicgames.com/threads/760852-HELP-Graphics-issue I believe i was told to update my graphics card or my drive but i forgot or i just do not know. 4.) I am trying to set a maximum number of throwables for molotov. Like you can throw 20 plates, 10 vilnyl records, but how can you set the throwable number for molotov? 5.) I am stuck in over time. Like when he tells me to go get the expensive champaigne, i go get it and when i do, he does not send me a call, and all of the items are listed on the map before i moved on, like it had all items on the to do list, even overtime. I gathered all of the items and went to overtime, but the doors were locked. So i am basically stuck in overtime..... HELP!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>SOLVED?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

6.) Please, for the love of God, how can I get RID of scare zombies??!?! Like they pop out of a corner and play an ear rape noise and it always scares me. I know it adds to the whole horror genre, but I am sick of having to stop what I am doing to press mute before I enter a room or a corner to where I can not turn the camera enough to check for a scare zombie, and walking up slowly to a corpse that I do not remember killing. So please, I will do ANYTHING! >>>>>>>>SOLVED?<<<<<<<<< I think i removed the ear rape sound from the scare zombies, like i went into the audio and deleted the 4 zombie stings and since then, silence, but deadly.

1.-This are the lines i think you must change to have something, i can't test them right now, so it's up to you:
SpraySupply = "20"
IsCondiment = "true" Maybe with a "false" something is going to happen.

That's everything that i see that can do something.


2.-For this, you have to edit the missions.txt in datafile.big, and find the lines that have the sandbox codes. *Editing missions.txt will corrupt your savefile, back up before you do something*

You can use the same spawn point of an npc over another npc, and you are gonna get him in that place:
Example: Use the spawn point from above (It's from LawShawndra in sandbox mode, in the foodcurt), and use it over another npc... Now you have the new npc in the same spot as LawShawndra.

You can also use the same spawn point from sandbox to place npc's in the normal game and in the other way.

To make them help you... i don´t know in sandbox. You can change "Defect = "true" to "false" and see if it works.




3.-Post an image of the screen issue just to have a better idea about what's going on. PS: Update your drivers.

4.-Solved?... Okay then, but if someone else ask, is because you can't, you can only have one molotov, you can´t stack molotovs.

5.-Overtime... Get ALL the items and then go to the arena entrance, it's suposed that when you get there you will trigger a cutscene.

PS: Spoods, to prevent what happened with the "nice administrator" (wich is not bad at all when you know him), whatch the last post time, because some are really old, and expecting help in there is gonna be really hard to happen; don't re-post the same thing in different threads, just one time in one thread. So that pretty much sums it up, and alright i will try that with the ketchup, and i tried taking a screen shot of the game, but i go to paint and i just see a black image, probably because the game needs a built in screen shotter, and yeah i know with the administrator thing, i am new here but i am starting to learn from my mistakes, ad he is a nice guy. I do not know how to back up my save game, like i do not know what save files to go to to do so, so that is the case on that one. But for the red lines or waves, i asked if i was missing a file, which i listed the files in my capcom folder below, so i asked if i was, or am missing a file? Anyways thanks for your response and for your time and i will see you later and try out your solutions!

EDIT; I tried the ketchup solution, and i think it worked. I sprayed it and it stayed at 99 percent for a few seconds but then it changed to 50, but i have sorayed it for like a minute so i think it worked! But the thing is, i have the bbq chef costume so it has the fire effect when i spray a zombie with it, but it did not have that fire effect, probably because of the condiment to false thing, but im going to change that back to true and if it still works then i will give you an update! Thanks!

EDIT: IT WORKS! OMG DUDE THANK YOU! YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE KETCHUP!

It worked? wow, never think it would .

You have all the files you need to play. The red things are really strange, but you are not the only one who have that issue, also, he have the same issue. It's probably your graphics card, sorry about that

To backup your save files, just go here: C:\Users\Spoods\Documents\My Games\Dead Rising 2 Off The Record\saves  
If you have the skydrow version: C:\Users\Spoods\Documents\My Games\Dead Rising 2 Off The Record\saves\SkidRow

And copy all the files in that folder to somewhere safe in your pc.


If you can, try to get first the champagne and then get everything else.

To update your drivers you have at least 3 options:

Update them trough the Control panel, In "Device manager":

 It's the same for windows 7, i don't know if is the same for windows Xp or 8

2.-Download the driver from the customer page: A Nvidia card need a nvidia driver wich you can get in the Nvidia page.

3.-Download an aplication that can download and install the drivers for you:

Slim drivers

IObit drive booster

Both are free and really good, if you wish, download the first one, run it, install the drivers it find and reset your pc, then download the second one and do the same thing.

At the end of the thread, you can find the "reply" button, if you use it, a new screen will appear. The new screen have a little toolbar at the top, find the little picture in the third bar and use it to post images:

The DLC outfits... Well, you can download the DLC and then make clothing dispensers for each part of the outfit. Though i don't know how to make a cloth dispenser, ask Solidcal about it.

It wasn't my picture , also, i didn't remember to finish that part of the post.  When you have that open, click over "display adapters" and then right click over your graphics card, select "update". The update manager will show up... That´s as far as i can go with manually updating your driver, i'm gonna sugest you to use the above aplications to update them, they are easy to use and even better than manually updating your drivers.
