Hello everyone. Now I have been messing with the datafile.big and found out you can change what models appear in cutscenes and in game.Well npc ones anyway. So this is simple and easy to do and will save you time if you wanna have certain characters in a cutscene to give you a laugh. 1.So first you unpack your datafile.big with gibbs tool.I am sure most of you know how to do this already. 2.go into the unpacked datafile and open items.txt with a editor like editpad lite or notepad plus.A program where you can search for the characters name is the best to have. 3.Now find the characters name you wanna do the model swap of.For example I am gonna change sullivan's code to show Dick from CZ as his model is still in OTR.Most of the characters have exactly the same name in their code as their npcs.big name. 4.Now find the name of the npcs you want to replace your character with.As I said I am swapping Sullivan with Dick.So Dick's model name is srv_prolougepawnshop. So go to the assestfilename and swap your selected characters name with the one you wanna swap them with.So I will swap cast_sullivan_t1(Sullivan's cutscene model name) with srv_prolougepawnshop. (Dick's model) 5.Now save your edits then go and repack your datafile.big.When it is finished repacking swap it with your original datafile.big and ta da!You have now swapped characters around without editing or modding your npcs.big. Heres some screens from my game of Dick over Sullivan. This editing will also work the same way with DR2.

That is actually pretty damn awesome, I had no idea we could even do this. Too bad we can't do the same for the actual playable character, would pretty much eliminate the need for editing Npcs.big what so ever other than adding to it or editing textures
