As far as I know Texmod only supports DX9 applications (DR3 is DX11). Yep, same result after some research... But i frequently see some topic (different games) about Texmod with some recent games (using DX11) but the only way seems to "downgrade" config files and forcing DX9 use I'll give it a try.

Hi everyone, its been a while... So, i already have some ideas about reskin and all but i got problem to run TEXMod with DR3, i'm sure running the game with TPF would work, but for some reason the logging mode result in a "D'oh" message and refuse to launch... If someone know the trick to make it work ?

Believe it or not not EVERYONE wants to focus on Frank I'm personally more interested in bringing Resident Evil characters in Dead Rising 2, rather then making more gear for Frank when there is so much of it already.. but hey we are all different. ^ This, let the mods/modders find the ways of the creativity and surprising import from various games ! We have time

Don't listen to that guy. I think it looks fantastic. thanks, i'm still working on it, got problems wit some normal/light map. Maybe later with some mods, making frank less "fatty" like this STARS on Chuck

Hey Wizard, any news on female anim/skeleton ?
I try with the DR2 anim file, it work (without the camera walk/run), but not fully with OTR, missing some franck attack anim etc...

1st try in OTR, i forgot which line in bigfile.xml to edit... so it look like some frank part clip here and there, , and some skeleton issue's...

I know i've already done this kind of stuff on DR2 ( Convert the one i make for DR2 is impossible not the same Tex) and i can seem to find the normal map on this one... but it's just a test @wizard : The spoiler tag is broken ?

Yep really strange that's the only zip i cannot unzip...with Winrar/7Zip etc... Anywway if i'm the only in this case, not a problem i'll find it

Ok, just a bit lost in editing DR2... and i see huge improvement since my last mods (few swap and lot of skin/tex using texmod)
But i just tried your archie zip and it seem to be corrupted or something...

good work man, but can i use this mod along with another costume mod? You mean another TPF package ? If yes , for sure @akantor : There is another method to directly change the tex (but in my case, game crash), I'm just waiting for a Tex>DDS, DDS<Tex converter to make it easier...

love that shotgun reskin! looking forward to merc assault, that gun is fugly... I'm working on it, and i'm trying to make a "Gold six-shooter" version !

For ammo modifications, you need to edit datafile.big / items files.
For Co-op, i didn't try myself , but in think your co-op partners can see it only if he install the mods too

First Bakup your npcs.big
-Unpack npcs.big -You should get an npcs_big file -Just put the "bigfile.xml", "chest_default.big" and "chest_default.tex" in npcs_big -Repack npcs_big, and normally, a "npcs_big.big" is created, just rename this file to "npcs.big"

can you make sawn off shotgun ? Probably not, that's more of a model change. He's editing the skin textures, not models. Example: How about a Pearl-handled SixShooter? Nice work! Yep a this time editing model is just ... impossible ubtri© : Yep, next on the list just after Shotgun (MercGun, and Sniper are "correct") @wizard : That's exactly what i think, the pistol look like a plastic toy...

a ok mes il y a un problème les yeux parte sur les coté pendant les scène ses normal? [French]Oui c'est "normal"... C'est a cause du squelette utilisé par le model, l'un ou l'autre (Male ou Female) apporte son lot de bug (les mains, les yeux...) Pour l'instant pas vraiment de solution pour le corriger Ps: tu pourrais faire un effort, l'anglais est ici préférable.[/French]

Mods already have a Re1 wesker and chris style HERE ( That the best i can do with the basic swat outfit) But for a Re5 Chris... i don't know...
