Unfortunately I dunno if I will do much else on this. I had ideas on certain skins but the fact that I can't have as much freedom without a proper model importing tool makes it a bit lackluster. So I apologize for that

This has been a passion project for a little bit now and is a little rough around the edges but thanks to the help from a lot of people on the discord I managed to do a somewhat playable Female mod. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING! 50percentjoe for the individual outfit piece mod "Deleted" for the original method to model swap UndeadFrankie for helping me with questions and providing the DR Tool Kit It's a mix of using npcs (some with custom textures to somewhat mock the original idea of the outfit), Angel with custom textures on certain outfits and keeping some of the original shoes and bottoms of Nick's to use on Angel. ::NOTE:: Since this is not model importing and just a means to have some sort of female useable. With that said, there will be tons of issues. 1) I could not remove Angel's hair so it will poke out of some of the hats/wigs 2) In order to use color variants: Step 1: Select the Outfit Default Nick to Revert to Anna Clean Model Step 2: Select the Outfit Piece (Ex: Lingerie Bottom) Step 3: Select an Outfit Piece that uses the same Model (Ex: Lingerie Top). To use Angel with Accessories on her Face you must Select the piece for Punk Hair to revert to Angel Default Head To Use Angel with Hats or Wigs you must Select the piece for Punk Face to revert to Angel Default Head To get the best results for Blue Hairs you must Select the piece for Gang Leader Face to revert to Angel with Blue Hair in front -Side Note: If it keeps going to Angel Default Hair Version, Select Swimwear Goggles to make her head disappear then choose the Variant of your choice. Hopefully you all enjoy DICK (or NICK) to FEMALE MOD: www.mediafire.com/file/v4gq8di36udhy5p/D%2ACK_TO_FEMALE_MOD.zip/file

I was wondering why angel works over their models. Well I guess that answers that one. Because I recently tried to put annie over Nick and as you already guessed, the skeleton was messed up. So even if we swapped the skeleton, it would effect the other player I assume? Since they all read from the same one.
Nick + Annie [over Dick] (Both will have to have same skeleton so one will have to suffer.)
Wonder if there is a way around that?
Just gotta keep experimenting man, hopefully you get something.

The cool thing with replacing females in this game is that they use the same skeleton it seems like for the male. When I put angel over nick for instance, she used weapons and walked just fine.
For Adam Kane -> You want to look for the zdc_agent stuff in (deadrising3/data/models/clothing/dlc)
And thanks a lot for the blank defaults tab, maybe we can swap all clothing into npcs in the future with this.

After getting the game I really was excited for the day one dlc just to find out these two costumes weren't available to pc users. Luckily enough they are still in the files of the game. And thanks to an easier dead rising to swap around, I was able to mess with the files. So for those who want to use these costumes, here ya go. www.mediafire.com/download/pck1gccc4hnxchj/Frank+%2B+Chuck+Default+Outfits.rarI might just upload Angel/Brad into the main story as well. It's neat to see that all the dlc characters do in fact work for the main story without any crashing. So now we can use them in co-op woo.

Thanks again. Just been trying to do what I can and also messing around making some other types of mods on other sites. So this will be really cool to play with a friend when I get it set up.

Really sorry solidcal, I appreciate the effort put into helping as well. It mean a lot just to get replies, considering everyone does their own thing or even just doesn't feel the need to help. So that I thank you.

Thanks a lot Tommah for helping out. Looks like Frank's hair on Ada is completely gone. Now all I would have to do is create some model swaps for the rest of franks outfits (to make them into females).

Thanks man, it's good t hear your replies, and I'll definitely see if it works. If not, I'll just kinda hang in there till someone is able to answer.
:EDIT: I tried doing it the way you suggested, but it didn't work unfortunately. Crashed to desktop.

headwear_base? Interesting, if I open it up in a hex editor, and erase all the data and resave it, will it appear invisible then? I think I tried, but it errored out. Mind kinda explaining how to go about this?

Do you remember which .big file it is that has all the skeleton data? Also is there a way to make it so frank has a female voice?
If none of these apply, I was thinking of having chuck as the female because of the "Chuck as a Chick Mod." Giving him a female voice/all female models, female skeleton, etc.
The only problem was when I did it, it still showed chucks hands, feet, and head.

How did ya get it without the hair to appear on her head? That was my major problem when I tried putting it in the npc.big folder.
As for adding new outfits, how does that work? If it's like the DR1 frank where it puts another little object in the locker room for you to select I would like to try to steer away from that. It's a great idea, but I'd rather have something a little more authentic. Going around the casinos/malls and finding outfits to try on and then it eventually changing your look/character. Get what I mean?
Also solidcal, do you know where the skeleton goes? And make it so it doesn't replace franks?

You think there is any voice mods for Frank? If not I guess it's ok, but how about the skeleton? Is there anyway around this?

Hey this is technically one of my first times messing with dead rising in a long time and I could use some help.
I do have most of the tools needed to get going and I have put different stuff together (unpacking big files/repacking).
I'm just having some trouble with one of the mods made by mariokart64n. It's Ada Wong in Re4 outfit. I managed to get her over top of frank successfully, but she has franks hair still appear, her skeleton doesn't seem to be right, and her voice is still franks.
For the skeleton: Does that have to do with the datafile.big? Or is there more to it than that. I also want to make it so it doesn't effect the skeleton of Chuck when playing in online.
For the voice: I have a Rebecca voice mod I downloaded a while ago, and tried to replace it within the streamedassets.big and replace the fx_main.big into it, however when I did so it didn't work properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and with this necessary help I was considering trying to make a full female model swap for Frank West in the story (if not use the already done Chuck into Stacy mod with customizable outfits).

Sorry for the double post but it looks like I got that stuff working except for the willamette. I noticed it was spelled wrong, but the game spells it wrong deliberately? I am not entirely sure why they do. In both the xml file and the two files (big and tex) it's spelled will"i"amette with an i. Unless it is spelled that way, but I see it spelled without it on many sites regarding dead rising.
Edit: Everything officially works fine now. All models are replaced accordingly and no floating clothing. Everything also can be played online without chucks clothing clipping to it. Thanks for the help

I kinda get what you mean in regards to the Arthur Armor, there is a few of them with similar names. Maybe I could try to test that one out again; however I'm not sure if it will apply to the other two. There is two files for each chest_Williamette_Mall_Security.big chest_Williamette_Mall_Security (tex) chest_tir_outfit_yellow.big chest_tir_outfit_yellow (tex) -attached is an image below to my folder- I will surely try to do it again, but I have a feeling the same result will come out of it. With all respect the way it was worded in the beginning, it seems you feel that I just want the clothing to wear in which I don't. All I plan to do is change the clothing to make an npc appear in it's place. I am pretty familiar (thanks to the people on this forum) on how to model swap a clothing piece to an NPC. I am also familiar with the clipping issues if not using the chuck default. And again thanks to the forum there was one way I got around to this with the xml file. This also helped me to use these online without having to see Chuck's clothing over top of an NPC I swapped (Example: If I swapped Army Jacket Pants to Sullivan, and they have different clothing pieces on, Sullivan would appear with random chuck clothing depending on what they chose, but again I was able to fix that).
Yes it seems so. With some of the clothes that were not swapped (like the grey fortune city shirt/red fortune city shirt) I was able to successfully swap them out with an NPC. Works perfectly, but it is unfortunate that it didn't work the same with the Williamette, Arthur Armor, and TIR Uniform. I do not understand fully why that is. I am guessing it does have something to do with either their scene description file, or the xml filem, but not entirely sure how to go about it

This is an excellent mod. It helped me quite a bit to understand how to change a few things to get the perfect npc layout. Now when trying to add my own swaps, a majority of them worked fine, but when I try to swap over "Arthur Armor" and "Williamette" it still appears to be the chest piece with everything else invisible. What else would I need to do to change that? Thanks in advance.
