I agree, valve neglects to update their engine unlike every other company and they keep making games on this 2001 engine, it hardly support features that almost every other engine supports, such as cloth, alphas that render correct. small bone limit, very very glitchy physics, spec maps and normal maps cant be included in a single phong material... hardly supports dynamic lighting, their engine is a mess really.
Anyway, for the time being I put this together by just modifying his regular default outfit so it looks more like his old clothes and I used the DR1 textures to finish it off.
Unfortunately I still can't figure out how to permanently mod .tex files without things just corrupting and turning black so well It still needs texmod to use. But just stick all the .big's into npcs.big
Hey Freako If you gave me the raw textures for this reskin (Nonpacked TEXMod Pack) i could replace the raw TEX for you. I know how to do the whole header swap deal, I've done it a ton in the past.. These textures just replace his default outfit right?
