First time I used the Windows Movie Maker. I somewhat screwed up the aspect ratio. I might do another one during the weekend.

First time I used the Windows Movie Maker. I somewhat screwed up the aspect ratio. I might do another one during the weekend. No dead little girl falling from a hotel window, but still AWESOME. Thank you! Will add to above post! Will do some advertising this weekend on the forums. I don't see anything wrong with aspect ratio. I LOVE how you nailed the real feel and intention of this mod, as the original infinity mode: that you will die, it is just a matter of time. If you choose to do another video (although this is awesome!), you should do one showing time travel (start second debug mode mission). Tom, do we want to add to this to the intro video? I can do this tonight or tomorrow.

I don't know if we should advertise the time travel. To me it seemed like it wasn't necessarily a key feature, just a mean to extend the game and avoid the crash. Besides, have you played it? I hardly made it 10 minutes, I don't think much people, if any, will make it to the end of Day 3. //And the aspect ratio is 16:9 done to 4:3 and then streched to 16:9 again. Thus the huge black borders in the ingame footage.

You brought up a good point which I was going to address, maybe write a readme or something in the exe program stating this is a damn hard game, advising to start at level 50, and how to start at level 50 from a previous game.

Can someone write up detailed step by step instructions on how to acquire your previous saved level? I would like to include this on one of the .exe screens I don't know if we should advertise the time travel. To me it seemed like it wasn't necessarily a key feature, just a mean to extend the game and avoid the crash. Okay

I just restart the story from a save game of my Lv 50 char. What's there to explain? Download of the teaser in .bik file format.

Advertising How about this on the forums advertising this: Dead Rising 2 never included Dead Rising's infinity mode. Now, a new mod lets you play infinity mode in Dead Rising 2. Infinity mode is a battle not only with zombies, but with your health slowly decreasing and all survivors are enemies. Battle characters who have never appeared in any game and battle all of the case zero characters. Zombies are incredibly aggressive and there are three secret weapons.
What do you all think? Please rewrite better.... Feedbackthere is a way to make feedback easy on the wiki, with no registration. How about including this: What did you think of this game?
p.ly/feedback on the screen when a person dies? Does anyone know if there are links in the Dead Rising 2 game menu which redirects someone to an internet site? If so where? I will add a short two sentence blurb on p.ly/feedback above the box, encouraging feedback. I just restart the story from a save game of my Lv 50 char. What's there to explain? . Okay, no explanation needed. Download of the teaser in .bik file format. Thanks

Dead Rising 2 never included Dead Rising's infinity mode. Now, a new mod lets you play infinity mode in Dead Rising 2. Infinity Mode makes you fight for your very own survival. Your daughter needed you for her Zombrex. Now she wants to slit your throat. Survivors don't need you to escort them, but to die. Zombies are hungrier, meaner and more numerous. There's noone coming to rescue you. You're on your own. How long can you survive before your body fails you after draining out of life energy? To help you survive, there are three secret weapons that you can use. But only if you survive long enough ...
.bik video will work as soon as the upload to Dropbox is complete.

It represents the cruelty of every day life and especially Infinity Mode, that's why it's gone.
.bik upload is done.

Here's my description: Infinity Mode. Remember it? Well you should! Using groundbreaking, new engine characteristics and formats, the DR2 Modding Community proudly presents: Dead Rising 2 Infinity Mode. Face off against your everyday survivors, battling psychopaths and scavenging for food as time goes by! Battle everyone from Leon to Dick, the pawnshop owner from Case 0! Dead Rising 2 Infinity Mode. How long can you last?[/i][/quote] I love it, much better written, thanks mad! Ad: Dead Rising 2 never included Dead Rising's infinity mode. Awesome, we can combine the best of both. It is humbling to be surrounded by so much creative talent! what happened to the Uninstall feature? There was a issue where it could uninstall to much, Working on fixing it Thanks Sullivan, when will you teach us how you do this magic! It probably should not be called an uninstall, as we are not going back to the way the program was before the install, but more like a reinstall of the original program, over Infinity mode. Thanks again Sullivan, it is rare in life that a person comes along at the exact right time, and the right place. You did!

For a new game plus all you do is press X ok the keyboard on the slot you wish to restart the story it will keep your level and money but well you already know what happens to the money If that is to complicated perhaps all buttons can be set to start a new game and then have an insta-level up to 50 by awarding 100B PP at the beginning of the game. I have not tested this method but it might have a negative and pop up all level up screens where you get combo cards and your stats increase. ***Update*** Ok so I decided to test out the second method and sure enough you get level up message 50 times or until you leave the area XD I'm sure there is a way around it but just so you know it works

The best quality you possess is having the creativity to ask the right "what if?" question, and the intelligence to test it. Nice job. Remember how we turned off the money, maybe we can do something like that.... But this is a minor issue...It is your nature to come up with complex problems to solve.

I think the baked potato needs to fully heal the player, not only give them 2-3 bars of health.... not nearly enough

I think making all food unspoiled is making the mode too easy again, as food will respawn.

yea that makes sense.... but the baked potato DEFINITELY needs to fully heal.... I took almost my full health to get the first, ate the potato and got 2 health boxes and was thinking "what the hell?!"

Here's a version of the mod without the spoiled food, making things a little easier As a trade off a lot of the food only heals around 50 percent of what it usually would. I hope I'm not stepping on anybodys toes by editing this mod? If so please let me know! www.mediafire.com/?ife6gsrhz6agqttActually I'm having some trouble. Nobody download for the time being :/ If anyone played the original version knows, the idea is limited food, to see how long you survive before you die. making the food respawnable ruins a central part of what infinity mode is completely.

I used this text for capcom-unity: Infinity Mode has returned. Play Dead Rising 2 Infinity Mode. Your daughter needed you to find her Zombrex, now she wants to slit your throat. Zombies are hungrier and more aggressive. Battle new survivors cut from the final game and all the Case Zero survivors. There's noone coming to rescue you, you are on your own. Your health will slowly drop. To help you survive, there are three secret super weapons, but only if you survive long enough ... p.ly/infinitymode

I really like the idea with the cardio sounds. Make another one with that sounds and some more Infinity Mode only footage (such as the bomber), and it's gonna be really awesome!

Any way to manually slow down how fast chuck loses health? It's way too fast. Not manually within the game. It has to do with sgraph, ubiq can answer. I like the trailer too -- wish there were hostile survivors in it though!

there are hostile survivors in the clips, I was failing horribly at isolating them from the zombies but if you look closer at the clips there are a few in there. Also all the clips were from me play IM, I fired it up and captured all the clips I needed in about 30-40 min
the Survivors in the video are: Jenny, Archie, Boykin, Protester, Royce, and of course the 3 at the beginning of the game

are you lvl 50? Also the only thing I feel it needs is for the potato to fully heal the player, otherwise its just a matter killing that first survivor. I used my invincibility mod ( which doesn't work with the damage over time, just everything else) and was able to capture about 95% of the clips used in the video. I don't think its the speed of the health drop, its just that there isn't anything to heal enough.
Anno, I think this needs to be rereleased with the potato fix as soon as possible. It would take 2 minutes and is a must. I already changed it in my game
