Saves won't work because they are trying to load data that doesn't exist anymore. You have to start a new game or New Game + which keeps your level and cash. As far as the crashing goes you would have to provide more information that could help narrow it down, maybe try lowering graphic settings.

I am currently re-installing the game and am going ot try to reinstall the mod again, I'll post here with the results. I'll also try a new offline profile for a brand new save file without any conflict.

After the reinstall and installing the mod it now works! Though I gotta say it's pretty rough , I realize the entire point is to see how long you can survive but there is so many enemys that I can hardly even get around without taking tons of damage. Is there any way of healing yourself at all?

You would just betray yourself. There is no achievement to gain, no fancy story missions, nothing else to do then but to wait to see the time pass. Besides, unless you find out how they did it, Chuck will lose all his cash at the start. Anyway, nobody minds if you merge them, but there's just no point in doing it, I guess.

I would say re-download/re-install. I'm not sure what happened but it sounds like a problem with datafile.big.

Are you trying to use it on OTR? Because if you are there's a reason its not working(hint: its because they're not the same game)...

(will post the same text on report too)
Sorry for may poor english.
The link to Sullivan´s exec is always in 509 state on dropbox...
Also, I´ve downloaded a zip on a post bellow and extracted. Extracting all (bigfile, dynamicprops and front end, dont work, my W7 keeps on black screen, playing the music, and dont offers a initial screen (start). Extracting only bigfile, it works, but crashes on Atlantic Cassino.
Also, a question: can I save the game somewhere? This mod is pointless without a save: good for core gamers, but nobody 'normal" can be 8 hours inf front of a computer!
Thanks.

maddacheeb,
I dont know if you are answering to me or making a general comment. Sorry, my english is very basic.
My message was because the link to installer (Sullivan's executable) always report 509, witch means "link disable by dropbox itself". Neccessary to duplicate this download in another place.
About the crash, it is not necessarly because the mod maybe. The crash is very similar to another crashes what happens eventualy in my Nvidia GTX280. However I report the crash because it happened two times in same place (Atlantica Cassino).
And the question about the save is justified because my time in front of my cpu is very fragmented, cannot dispend much 'continuous' time in only a single task, needs to save and return again another time... whitout this, this excelent mod is unplayable by me and another with the same profile.

Curiously: starting at level 50, I dont crash anymore I guess. Before, I was trying to start a new game at level 1, to play hard hard Then I run like crazy until find a save point in Yucatan (what for a saving tutorial screen, if the mod dont have a save point, right?). Then I crash when try to save (this was with only a bigfile replace, obtained in third post of the thread).

you must have a beta version of this or something, Saving was completely removed from Infinity mode. Not only will it always crash but the original Infinity Mode from DR1 didn't have save point either.
the Dropbox error is legit, Dropbox is convenient but once there's a little bit of traffic it shuts the account down.

yes tommah, you are correct about the version. I used an extracted bigfile from the link of the second post on thread, posted by moloko.
too bad a save or a checkpoint system (like in OTR) cannot be maded for this mod!...
anyway thanks for the clarifications.

I think I have the latest version saved on my computer if you wanted that. Also, we decided from the beginning not to have a save point system. Wanted to stay true to DR1 Infinity Mode.

I appreciate your considerations, but its not necessary guys, at least for me: Finally I've been able to download Sullivan's exec from dropbox on a lower traffic hour (from that, I always can extract the correct files and ignore the one witch is causing the crash for me). However, Im not going to do this and play infinity, because, as I said, Im not a core gamer and cannot maintain the game executing forever on my computer (imagine if infinity have a save point and a 'slower timer' like the working training elsewhere: a "29 days survivor"...) Also, I understand the reasons for infinity mode lack save points, and I understand too why it will crash always on a save function - this is normal due to a heavy modified files, dont worry about that. Well lets see what Capcom is planning for a Dead Rising 3 maybe... (Sandbox Challenges in OTR sucks after playing one time...)

I know this is an old topic and an old mod, but having tried the mod I thought I'd give my two cents while it's still kind of fresh in my memory.
I actually liked the mod. It was a solid effort to give Chuck Greene his own taste of Infinity Mode. It was pretty simple to install, and the object of the game mod was made clear - survive, kill people and eat baked potatoes for as long as you can. It was nice to just freely run around Fortune City and slaughter zombies without having to return to the Safe House for cutscenes or anything.
I thought it was cool to see NPC Stacey fight rather than sitting around monitors all day. I can respect that you tried to integrate Katey as a combatant, but her animations were so screwed up that it just looked awkward. She'd be chasing you one minute, and sitting in mid air the next. I know that's an engine/animation limitation, but it probably would have been better to just leave her out and perhaps boost Stacey and Sullivan's health a little to compensate for Katey's absence in that sequence.
The only real negative I have about this mod is the absolute need to be level 50. Although I have played through this mod as a level 50 Chuck, I thought it would be fun to use a less experienced Chuck so I could see how many times I could level up Chuck before he dies. Unfortunately, Chuck would usually drop dead before he could get to another survivor to kill them for their baked potato. I think one time, I actually did encounter another survivor, but Chuck dropped dead while he was fighting them.
If you ever need to mod a custom Infinity Mode for Dead Rising 3, you should consider a variant for lower level characters instead of inflating the challenge level (fast degenerating health, making food items other than the baked potato completely useless) for level 50s only. If someone wanted to try this mod after one DR2 playthrough (most likely ending up leveled in the 20s), they wouldn't be able to survive very long.
With that said, great work.

Health decreases too fast and if you Jump it decreases health. You can thank ubiq for that little piece of stupid code. Anyways I was thinking of doing a v 1.1 update to solve some of those problems. I second this.It would be nice to get stuff updated and closer to the DR1 infinity mode.

That would be great, Madda. If you fixed it up, I'd definitely give the mod another run through.
Yeah, the health loss is definitely the #1 problem with the mod. I understand what ubiquitous was trying to go for with the jumping health loss, but I don't think such realism is necessary. I can live with the air sitting combat Katey.
Is it possible to hide the food items or prevent them from spawning? It's not a major issue, but since they don't heal Chuck like the baked potatoes do, I don't see the point of even having them spawn/render. Although they're low poly, removing them might help the guys with framerate issues a little.

How do you remove zombies?
EDIT: Did it. STiP0's Gibbed Tools helped!
