[infinitebox] ok, I keep seeing questions like "is there an invincibility mod" or "is there a trainer that will make you invincible?" in a very short word.... yes. And oddly enough it is probably one of the most simple mods you'll ever use and perfectly mix-able with every single other mod. but in order to get it you will need Gibbed.Tools in order to pack and unpack found HERE. And read THIS to learn how to use the Tools. Step 1: Unpack datafile.big Step 2: inside newly created datafile_big folder, open items.txt Step 3: copy and paste at top of the list of text: cThemeItem health { DecreaseDamageToPlayerPercent = "1" }
Step 4: Save items.txt, pack datafile_big with Gibbed.Tools and rename to datafile.big There you have it... For all the skeptics, this is the same "themeitem" capcom used in their DLC to give their outfits all the boosts... but the difference is that this doesn't clarify what outfit to give the boosts to, so it stays in effect. The "1" means 100%. I have personally tested it and was being chewed on by a zombie for around 5 min without losing a single box of health. ENJOY!!! search terms: infinite health unlimited heath.

I used it. Funnily, you still get damage from falling from heights or other events, such as eating "poisoned food". Just thought it's good to know. So it only blocks damage from zombies/survivors/psychos.

Ubiquitous's found a chuck state 5 in an area, makes Chuck invincible For example in missions.txt, in the safehouse, in the section cMissionDefinition Case6-4_GetItems
cMissionOnSuccess AllItemsPlaced { cMissionSetChuckState InvulnerableForAssemble { ChuckState = "5" }
cMissionSendEvent ItemGatherComplete { Value = "ItemGatherComplete" }
cMissionHideTriggerVolume HideItemTrigger { TriggerName = "PlaceItems" }
cMissionDisableTriggerVolume DisableItemTrigger { TriggerName = "PlaceItems" }
}

from tom:
cThemeItem chuck { SpeedBoost = "20" }
enter that at the top of "items.txt" pack and play... if you want to go faster increase the number. Its not quickstep per se, but its the same effect

Just saying, this has been here for a long time, and some of us even used it, but tom was the first to remember it. He has posted a complete list of all DLC attributes here.

You're a global mod, why wouldn't people believe you? Also, does this work in OTR?

ha ha, I dunno I was just messing. I haven't actually modded OTR yet so I have no idea. I'm about 99% sure it would because everything seems to transfer between these two games

thanks. it worked. make sure you have your gibbed.deadrising2 folder on your desktop. and make sure you move your datafile.big out of the main directory, or else the gibbed.tools will crash because the gibbed.tools doesn't handle admin rights of file moving, so move the datafile.big first before you unpack. 1.make sure your gibbed.tools folder is on your desktop 2. move datafile.big to desktop 3. open your gibbed.tools folder 4. click and drag your datafile.big onto Gibbed.DeadRising2.Unpack.exe it will create a folder named datafile.big 5. edit the Items file (copy and paste the edit at the top of the text and press enter to add a new line after the pasting of the text lines) save the file but don't rename it. 6. click and drag that datafile.big folder onto Gibbed.DeadRising2.Pack.exe 7. move that new datefile.big back to the main game's directory.
