Tommah I suggest you have a look at the thread in the Sound forum since I just came around to remembering that it should be more detailed on how music/audio modding has been done so I posted there. sry for such a big wait for so many months lol been on other mobile games and school :/ Enjoy your L4D/L4D2 audio replacing bosses... or even the ambience in areas for hordes!

ok, ran into another problem. With testing everything it seems that I have forgotten about the 8 Survivor Rule (only 8 Survivors in a zone at a time)... meaning if you recruit all L4D survivors, the game may not load key survivors for the game. Anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this? I know of no way to limit number of survivors the player can have As for that have you tried creating copies of key characters such as Rebecca (I would have thought you could have 8 survivors with you and see her onscreen at the same time...) Therefore making the special class of survivor for your L4D key survivors which is like your general sidekick, friends or even a version of psychopath that has hacked/modded AI to change from the always hostile behaviour, as in have you been able to use the code from such characters? That might be how you support many characters I guess? you see, not to mention the game has been able to put in more than 8 phenotrans guys in one whole area in the CASE mission...

Rebecca's code doesn't really differ from normal NPC's, if I remember correctly. And the phenotran guys (in game) are actually Zombie items with a specific zombie behaviour (phenotrans behavior). If you look in the missions file they are actually spawned using zombie spawning codes. I dunno, there may be a way around it. Maybe not. By the time of the release of this I was ready to be done with it though

Here's hoping
