1 - ;D I'll be happy with that! I saw that you already did it, and I was wondering...how do you do it? 2 - I was thinking - maybe have her replace any given female survivor(the healthy ones. ) and have her help until, of course, you get back to the safe house. Thanks again for the discovery!

Great work! But is it possible to get the Rebecca model without the bullet hole in her head? I knew this would come up eventually lol =] I haven't been able to find a face texture for her yet that doesn't have the bullet hole... If I do, i'll make an update right after I find it.

look at your instruction no. 8 then no. 3 that 'data' folder in no. 3 is 6.84 gb and you want me to replace with data folder 389kb? Lol It only replaces 1 file.. not the entire game. I think you mis-understand how folder copy'n' pastes work.

ooh, you're online. your response is very fast. like i'm in a chat room. ok, i'll do it. step 4 i got a folder npcs_big. put 3 files in and drag this folder onto "Gibbed.DeadRising2.Pack.exe", i got a file named npcs_big.big so i have to rename it to npcs.BIG before i put it back? That is correct =] After that, it should work just fine.

Have you tried using the other Rebecca models? For instance the "_t1" version is the higher quality cinematic version. It might not have the bullet hole.

since you're online, do you know how to fix the eyeballs? I haven't looked into it in awhile. I'm sure I could figure it out if I looked into it a bit. Probably just a wrong bone I already have plans to release a "Female Character Replacement" update to fix up some important things.

Hey, thanks for your work. i really like your mods One problem: when using a gun (tested with handgun) the left arm/hand looks like she's kinda physically disabled (especially when standing still), looks very weird havent tested it, but i think its the same for the stacey-model etc. anything you can do about that? I will be releasing V2.0 of this mod tonight (along with many others) to fix up these issues, thanks to Tab

you are the best. is there a way to make her change costume to banana hammock? (my real intention is for her to wear birthday suit.) [wink wink] ps the eyeballs come of of eye sockets again, this time not on rebecca face but from the bosses. i use your mod and run to fight 2 bosses in the casino who chop a girl in half and call it a trick. they both wear blue cloth. the short guy's eyes is easily noticeable. All the guys now have the problems the females used to have, but I think they always did if you switch to a female character (Eyes, hands and the other misc ones)

There isnt a Bullet Hole anymore he fixed that By using a different, not as high-res model, they're asking for the other model which looks much better, but without the bullet hole, I'm working on editing out the bullet hole, but it still leaves a bump map which won't disappear. The most I could get is this: I assume the indent is a state that is activated when she is shot at, but as a player model, there is no activation, or hiding of the wound, so that's the best I could do... If you don't mind these problems, it's not really at all noticable Link for texmod file download (The bullet hole fix itself): www.megaupload.com/?d=BTECXY3LModel download: www.megaupload.com/?d=1O8LX6DHAnimation download (Thanks to tab): www.mediafire.com/?ac6g27aw1u8cqwuAnd a fixed skeleton (No more special hip or hook nose, thanks to bananeensucre) download: hotfile.com/dl/75997548/ab6e83f/playerfullbody.big.htmlBest regards, Adejam.

It's looks cool Mr.wizard. but can you change her hair style to the original version? Check my post, I've updated with all the links, I think having that tiny indent will be the only way to have her original hair, Best regards, Adejam.

Hi there. I just found this forum today and really like what you're doing here. Improving DR2 to maximum extend. I tried to do as asked to replace Chuck with the Rebecca model up until the point where I'm supposed to execute Gibbed.DeadRising2.Unpack.exe. First time it told me to install .NET Framework 4.x, and I did. When I click it now, just the DOSbox pops up, blank, then closes again and nothing happens. When I try to use other tools to open the .big files, they all fail me. So I was wondering if anyone else experienced that problem and may suggest how to fix it, because obviously I'd need it for most things here. I'm running Windows 7 32bit. Tried executing it as admin, compatibility stuff, etc. So I'm out of guesses for now. Hope someone can help me. Greetings

It sounds like everything is working properly to me, When that Black CMD Box comes up, even though it is blank, it IS working! Just be patient When the box goes away, you know the file is finished extracting / Repacking!

Um, I guess shame on me. In my usual style of fast reading and relying on my experience with computers and modding in general I simply overread the quite important part "Drag 'n Drop". I was just clicking on the DOS box expecting a dialogue box to ask me about (un)packing. Now everything works fine, thank you. I understand the conversion only works when Chuck is wearing his default clothes overall, thus when reloading a game where he was dressed I got some texture glitches. When starting a whole new game, all TIR drivers were Rebecca wearing a white hat (which actually looks pretty nice), only thing was that the model was wearing both jeans/boots and skirt/heels, which looked a little odd. Is that common? Because afaik when you first control Chuck he is in his default clothes, no? I then changed the files with my backups, loaded an older file, defaulted him, saved, changed again and loaded and voilá, works perfectly fine now. Apart from a few minor things like partial blinking with eyes open and the feet being partly in the floor, the hairy arm when looking at the watch and the weird to hilarious cutscenes now, where a booby Rebecca Chang talks in a deep manly voice and is upset when she herself reports in TV that Chuck freed all the zombies ( ;D ), everything's really nice, thank you very much. Question before I start trying, though: Does that work in Coop, too? Theoretically, it should, since the models are shown on the client, I guess. But you never know if Gfwl decides to restrict things. Any experiences on that yet? If not, I'll report back in a couple of days. I appreciate what you and others are doing here and encourage you to keep it up as long as your leisure time allows it. Such sites are the reason why PC gaming will always be better than console gaming, in my opinion. I'll definitely keep an eye on this site and tell my buddies who own this game, too. Thanks again and happy new year.

Did you change clothes while using the Rebecca model? Because that's about what happened when I started a whole new game, Rebecca was wearing skirt/heels and jeans/boots. Do you mean his standard shoes, which would be boots, or simply a pair of sneakers you wore before? Saving an all default Chuck with the vanilla files and then replacing them with the Rebecca files worked for me.

By the way, Wizard? In your initial post you link to a Youtube video which then links to an updated one where you use survivor sounds for Rebecca. But when I enabled the mod the default sounds where played, making her grunting like Chuck. What happened to the other sounds? Were they intentionally not included or did I miss out on something? //Update: I now searched for the sounds myself and was able to extract and apply them. Only thing I can't fix is the "Ah" when a weapon breaks, as I couldn't find any file that would hint on being that one. Anyways, if anyone requests it I will upload the file that contains the original Rebecca sounds. Sometimes sounds don't seem to play, like some swing sounds, but in that case the PC is just mute, so that's an acceptable tradeoff, I think.

None of the model replacements are working for me D: Following all the directions and, but when I load the game I only get a Chuck with a weird nose and weird fingers and a more womanly animation, but I'm assuming those are all more cause of the updated anim and skeleton files included. Not getting any results with the Stacey model either (Which I actually would have preferred to play, but this topic is much more active!) Last post in the Stacey topic mirrors my current issues. Any ideas? I love this game and have been playing with more things, but not being able to replace models is a real downer D: Thanks much for any help! you are actually unpacking the npcs.big, replacing the files and repacking them right? judging from the bigfile.xml you need to be in the default clothing for this to work, since it replaces chest_default model. technically chuck's head shouldn't even be there since the head_naked file isn't even being loaded so i'm assuming you've only just moved the the /data file or something.

Hey unknowname1, I uploaded the fx_main.big here: rapidshare.com/files/440139129/fx_main.bigSounds I couldn't change because I couldn't find the files are the vomitting, the "Ah" when a weapon breaks and of course the comments on selfmade weapons. Might find some other solutions there unless I find out which files indicates which sounds. Sorry, I know rapid kinda sucks, but the other uploads didn't work, god knows why. Unpack the streamedassets.big and replace the fx_main.big, repack and change the streamedassets.big in your data folder. As for ruoivas, if you have the Steam version, maybe uncheck the auto-updating might help. Otherwise, did you reload a save where Chuck was in his default clothes? I also have Win7 and Steam and don't experience any problem of any sort.

uhmm... can someone reupload it? maybe to mediafire because I can't download it from 4shared. It just kept restarting after I press download. Thks Cheers We are having the same problem with Wizard's 4shared download it is very possible that there is an expiration on this uploads for 4 shared, which means we need to rush and find the other ones and back them up.

All we can do at the moment is giving models other textures IF both survivors use the same model, e.g. Lulu and Rebecca. As for swapping body parts, this is currently only possible with Chuck. See here.
