How can I get texmod to work with the steam version? I tried renaming texmod to "deadrising2.exe" so it opens from steam, but when i get to the menu GFWL wont let me sign in, it just closes and reopens the menu, doing nothing.
Sorry if that was confusing, it was a little hard to explain :/

Renaming texmod to deadrising2.EXE? That's way wrong You want to launch the real deadrising2.exe BY Texmod, Or have you already done that, and it doesn't work?

lol no i renamed texmod so it would open from steam, and opened the real dead rising 2 with texmod. I only renamed it so steam would open texmod instead of dead rising 2

So you try this method ? -Rename deadrising2.exe to deadrising2Original.exe -Rename Texmod.exe to deadrising2.exe -Launch the game via Steam, it should execute Texmod instead of the game. -Click on the folder icon below "Target Application" then select your deadrising2Original.exe -Now, you need to select TPF package (click on the folder icon just above the red cross)

Yeah Texmod works good directly with the game, but you loose the ingame Steam. Don't think there's a way around it, unless you mod the game directly.
