 Dead Rising 2 PS3
« Thread Started on Oct 8, 2010, 2:43pm »

Hi, i have the PS3 version of Dead Rising 2, my PS3 is jailbroken and i have access to all the files, i recently installed this mod and it worked perfectly http://deadrising2mods.proboards.com/ind....hread=64&page=2

However the main reason for my post, is not for mods as such, but rather im looking for while file the intro is in, the intro im referring to is the Capcom one when the game is turned on., im looking for this, as i am currently creating custom intro screens for PS3 games and id really love to get this version edited.

Thanks for the reply, i will check it out and respond if im successful :)

This is what im doing, i started of with a small game called MySims Sky Hero's, but it was easy as the intro video's are .bik, then i tried to do Dead Rising 2 and found uot about 90% of the files are .big, thats basically how i found this forum :)

EDIT:
Unfortunately the file structure is different, ill keep looking though, ill find it somewhere

Wow that is really awesome!
I never would have expected to see PC mods work on consoles. I figured the file formats from Console to PC would be way different, just goes to show how much of a direct port the game was.

They seem to be so much alike, only the file structures are different, i found this in data\frontend\mainmenu\title.txt

onUp="FOC:XboxLive"
onDown="FOC:DebugEnter"
onSelect="FWD:DebugJump"

Its weird seeing XboxLive in a PS3 file.

It's really cool people can mod the console versions as well. Especially when u can take PC mods to your consoles.

I know this probally doesnt go here but i put here for now. I to have a jailbroke ps3 and i have modded my dead rising 2 with model swaps and weapon mods but my problem is when i signed in on my friends ps3 and we played dead rising 2 i #1 in the world on the leaderboard with over 3 billion pp points and the next person has about over 600 million pp points. What i dont get is you cant sign in on a jail broke ps3 so how did my stats get updated to the leaderboard. my ps3 user id is zm1231.
